'I liked that it was safe and well-lit. The breakfast was filling. The room was clean. But the website for Best Western Oakdale, LA showed in their choice of rooms that there was a jacuzzi tub in there, which at that location, they don't have any rooms with that. They showed a swimming pool and nice area to sit, and the gate had a big padlock on it. the pictures that are on the website show there is an indoor jacuzzi, which was not there. The toilet seat was very loose. The agent at the desk at...

'One out of the two keys worked. Bathroom door was busted as if the swat team was there, doorknob was literally hanging out of the door. The vent in the bathroom was missing. Towels were filthy. Two remotes for the TV but neither one worked. Walls were DISGUSTING. Wall mount lamp was missing. The manager was rude and made excuses for the inexcusable condition of the room. The day manager needs some classes on professionalism. I HONESTLY dont see how this place can represent the Motel 6...

'We stayed in the Commissary. Very interesting old home from 1820 but the property (or at least, the care taker's position) has recently changed hands, so you'll see why the "breakfast" portion of "B & B" is not available right now. No other guests were staying the evening of our visit, so the caretaker gave us a tour of the house, and even let us see the attic. It really is just like the Loyd Hall website states...that there is no one else in the home, in terms of staff members, and if you...
