Welcome to this charming apartment with a beautiful lake view, located on the upper floor of the owners villa on a scenic lakefront property just outside Vimmerby. Here, you stay in a peaceful and comfortable setting with easy access to the town’s shops, restaurants, and the popular theme park Astrid Lindgren’s World.



The apartment has a private entrance at the back of the house and offers plenty of space for the whole family. It features four rooms and a kitchen – a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, a dining room with access to a balcony overlooking the lake, and two bedrooms – one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Several rooms offer lovely views of the lake. The bathroom includes a shower and toilet.

Down by the water, you have access to a private patio with a grill, perfect for cozy evenings outdoors. A rowing boat is available if you’d like to go fishing. Just a few hundred meters from the house is a lovely swimming area with a sandy beach and piers – ideal for families with children.

In just 15 minutes, you can reach Vimmerby, where Astrid Lindgren’s World and Astrid Lindgren’s childhood home “Näs” offer unforgettable experiences. For motorcycle and motorsport enthusiasts, MX World Collection – one of Europe’s largest motorbike museums – is well worth a visit with over 350 unique bikes on display.

Not far from Vimmerby, you can visit the real-life Bullerbyn and Katthult, the filming locations of the beloved Emil movies. At Virum Moose Park, you can see and even pet moose up close.

The coastal town of Västervik, named Sweden’s best summer town in 2020 and 2021, is about 45 minutes away by car. Enjoy charming shops, galleries, seaside restaurants, or take a swim at the water park Lysingsbadet.
