It is hard to believe that this is a Marriott property as from the exterior and building the grounds were unkempt. It was disgusting and it will make me question whether I ever stay at Marriott Courtyard again As even walking on the carpet in the room, they were damp. Filthy hotel would never recommend. That place needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom!

Rooms aren’t renovated to be more modern like the beds, sofa & bathroom so it wouldn’t be my first option but a safe option because it was still decent amenities & offered high levels of convenience to a top golf, sports center & the beach too.

Had to change out of original room due to bug cockroaches in the room. Second room notice when ready to leave dicovoa dirty men’s sock on the floor under the bed skirt and carpet looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed. I traveled 3 hrs so I basically dealt with it.

the property needs some serious maintenance. My room wouldn’t work and I had to call maintenance every time I had to enter my room. The water in the bathtub seems to have drainage issues- the water would sit for hours. I ended up going to someone else’s room that I knew to shower. I was in town for a nationals with my team. I am the coach and would stay out for hours and to come back from a 16hour day and not only could go into my room but not have a relaxing shower was soooo frustrating and emotionally stressing

The key got stock on the door so I waited to get a service for over 30 minutes in the hallway, but no staff came. Then they told us they would just move us to another room on the first floor. There was no refrigerator in the room to store our food and drinks. I expected better from Marriot affiliated hotels. This was an old building. The couch was old and sagging.

Marriot is always my first choice. Clean rooms and nice facilties. The only shortcoming was that the TV was to the side of the bed instead of the foot so we had to lay one one side to watch it

Hmmm....decent, but Marriot can do better
This was my 3rd time staying here but my 1st time disappointed. The very 1st thing I noticed was a weird bug on the wall (no clue what it was but it had 50 or more long legs) that moved super fast when I started throwing stuff at it. I also found like 3 ants during my stay. In the hotel's defense, this was a 1st floor room and there was mulch right outside the sliding door. Needless to say, that was my 1st and last time on the 1st floor. I still like the hotel because it's really close to the freeway and the price wasn't too bad. There's Starbucks coffee which hit the spot, and the staff is very friendly. I also like that the outside doors are numbered so you can park close to your room. There's potential here if management pay closer attention to details. Not going to list the details, but they matter and I noticed.

Hotel room was fine, but I can’t get my deposit for incidentals refunded. I contacted the hotel and was told it would be refunded by a particular date. As of that date, no refund.

Dave- as explained earlier, this was an authorization and not a hard charge to your card. If you are looking for a refund to be issued to your credit card, you will not see that as we never charged you. You would see a pending authorization & eventually it is no longer pending. If you still see that on your account after 7 business days past check out, please contact the hotel directly and we will be happy to assist with contacting your bank with you.

The hotel was easy to find. Our room was comfortable but the hairdryer was covered in old dried hair product and hair. The property needs revitalizing!!

Once again the stay at the Courtyard Marriott was not pleasant. The hotel was old, and hot. The bistro was less than inviting, costly and not very clean. We have learned our lesson. No more stays at Marriott.

My only issue was the tub didn’t drain causing water to fill the tub while showering. It is in a great location 15 mins from the beach.

Sydney was great at check in. One of the fastest and easiest check ins ever! Cathy at the Bistro was awesome! Very friendly and personable. Room was nice and clean. AC works nicely was able to make room cold. Shower was a little confusing but water was no e and hot. Bed very comfortable. Slept great
