'My boyfriend and I had booked 4 night in Villa Blu. We were both really excited about this place. Our room was very (!!!) clean and the view to the beach is/was really great. The beach is unspoiled but it wasn’t possible to take a swim as the waves were quiet harsh - luckily we had a nice pool at Villa Blu with sea view.
There are only a few hotels around Villa Blu and therefore the area seems quite local. It’s possible to rent a scooter or hire a tuktuk if you wanna go for a trip.

'Very nice and very quiet chalet on a deserted beach. The location is literally on the beach. Ideal if you want tranquility. Just the sound of the waves! Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked). '

'This was one of our favorite places during our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms are huge, very clean and everything seems really new.
The owner is very nice and helpful and the breakfast is great with a great view of the lagoon. If you like birds we saw both eagles and peacocks during our stay here.
You are around a 5 min walk from the beach and besides the restaurant on the property there are some good restaurants around.'

'This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). We were upgraded to an ocean view room on a top floor (lots of stairs), so...
