'I wish I could give this property 6 stars. From clear communication, travel tips , parking tips, to any question that needed to be answered Earl was available. The big moment is when you walk through the door and have a view of the city and harbour / port. Earl’s place is huge , clean, bright and stocked with the items you need . The beds were also super comfy. I’d go back to St.John’s just to stay at Earl’s place again. '

'Great location. Has everything you need and more. Comfy beds. Bathroom could use some fixing up but it was totally useable. A lot of stairs which didnt bother us but some may like to know that upfront. Was a fabulous weekend in a beautiful city.'

'The neighbourhood is in need of serious renovation compared to other districts in St. John’s. The apartment also needs overhaul. Everything is substandard. It's dark. Various minor repairs are required. Decoration and furniture are old-fashioned and have no charm. Even towels are frayed and gray from overwashing. It is not a place where one feels at home. We ended up leaving after just one night. We asked for a partial refund to no avail.'

'So the Jag Hotel In St. John's was overall 4 stars, the good is that the rooms were clean, spacious, bathroom and shower were excellent. Staff was helpful and cheery. Con, I did not like the chairs in the bar or restaurant. There are a lot of restaurants' a short walk from the hotel as St. John is not a very spread-out city. Overall recommend the Hotel and would stay here again. '
