Als een scène recht uit een ansichtkaart, ligt het luxe resort Kolea aan de oevers van de idyllische Anaeho’omalu Bay (A-Bay) in het hart van Waikoloa Beach Resort. Kolea biedt ongeëvenaarde voorzieningen, een prachtig uitzicht op kristalhelder water en is de enige woongemeenschap aan de hele kust van Kohala met een eigen directe toegang tot het strand.

Bij het betreden van de Hula Moon Villa spoelt een kalmerende bries over je heen terwijl je wegzinkt in de grote open ruimte, designmeubels en rustgevend uitzicht op de oceaan. Deze ruime villa is professioneel ingericht in een elegante mix van klassieke eigentijdse gemengd met prachtige Hawaiiaanse accenten. Er is een goed uitgeruste gastronomische keuken met hoogwaardige roestvrijstalen apparaten.

Open de pocketdeuren naar de Lanai en ontspan op de comfortabele tropische patio set. Er is een buitenkeuken met professionele Viking-grill, natte bar en minikoelkast. Leun achterover en geniet van een glas wijn of misschien een Mai Tai terwijl u geniet van een prachtige zonsondergang of ontspant onder een met sterren gevulde Hawaiiaanse hemel zoals u nog nooit hebt gezien.

We hebben ALLE kleine extra's gegeven waardoor de Hula Moon Villa echt een thuis weg van huis voelt. Elke slaapkamersuite heeft een eigen lcd-tv en digitale kabel. De woonkamer is ingericht met een 46-inch lcd-tv, entertainmentsysteem, surround sound en digitale kabel. We hebben ook een dvd-bibliotheek, bordspellen, gratis filmkanalen en gratis langeafstandsgesprekken terug naar het vasteland toegevoegd!

Plezier in de zon wordt eenvoudig gemaakt met volledige strandspullen inclusief handdoeken, stoelen en boogieplanken. Loop door de privépoort naar het strand van A-Bay, beroemd om zijn gouden zand en rustige blauwe wateren. De Ocean Sports-hut biedt verhuur voor snorkelen, kajakken en zonsondergangcruises. Of geniet van het oogverblindende uitzicht op de oceaan vanuit het Kolea Beach Club-paviljoen terwijl u geniet van een ochtendtraining in de openluchtoefenruimte, een duik in het overloopzwembad of een duik in de natuurlijke lava spa met uitzicht op het strand. Uw kinderen zullen dol zijn op het zwembad en de waterval met zandbodem.

Wonderful Stay at Kolea Hula Moon

We had a fantastic stay at Hula Moon! The unit was super close to the pool and the beach. Shops and restaurants were within walking distance. The unit was spacious, spotless and well maintained. The owner and onsite management group were very responsive. Highly recommend!

Wow!

We had a wonderful time at this luxurious condo. It has everything you could possibly need (including top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, very comfortable beds, a washer/dryer, paper products/laundry supplies/condiments & spices, and many other conveniences). The condo decor is lovely, with lots of hardwood (mahogany?) and elegant tile throughout. We appreciated the beautiful artwork and other decor elements. We loved the expansive lanai, which gave us a beautiful sunset view as well as a view of A-Bay. The location is perfect (within walking distance of the Queens' Marketplace and Kings Shops, a few minutes' walk to the pool, and a 5-minute walk to A-Bay). The pool area is wonderful with an infinity pool and hot tub. It never felt crowded, and there were plenty of poolside chairs. We had a fantastic time and hope to return!

Paradise!

This property was great and just as advertised. It was very comfortable for my family which included my husband and I and our 11 year old twins. It was beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything you might need for a wonderful stay. They even had beach chairs, umbrella, coolers and boogie boards. We especially loved sliding the doors to the lanai wide open and enjoying the ocean breeze while we grilled our marlin steaks. It was quiet and in a lovely location just steps from the pool and beach. There is also a market very close by for groceries along with restaurants and shops. The owner was so helpful and responsive to anything we needed. We were very sad to leave and will definitely come back. Don’t hesitate to stay here. You will love it!

Wonderful stay on Big Island

We had a great stay at the Hula Moon property. The condo was very clean, convenient, and had everything we needed. The Lania was quiet, private, and a wonderful place to eat dinner and enjoy the evenings. The boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, Snorkel gear, and cooler made our daily trips to the beach easy and fun. We loved our vacation in Waikoloa, and can’t wait to return!

Perfect

I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The property was amazing. The condo was fully furnished with a fully stocked kitchen, including a very nice blender and air fryer. There was so much attention to detail - from the comfortable beds, nice pillows, amazing lanai, down to the plush toilet paper. The pool was very nice with adequate lounge chairs and easy access to the beach. There were coolers, snorkel gear, chairs and umbrellas in the garage storage. I would absolutely stay there again. Not a single complaint or suggestion for improvement.

Excellent. Easy. Great location. Pedestrian friendly. Groceries and restaurants within walking distance. Great waterfront public path.Only issue was someone nearby kept smoking cigars and the odor blew into the unit. This unit is non smoking I don’t know whether the entire development is. The air is so clean here one bad apple really screws it up for everyone.Not the host’s fault obviously..

Amazing stay!

Beautiful, spacious 2-bedroom condo steps from the pool and beach was perfect for our little family! They had beach toys, beach chairs, a cooler, boogie boards, snorkel gear, an umbrella-everything we needed :) The kids loved the pools and hot tub and there were sea turtles everyday swimming by the beach. We will definitely be back!

Dream vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hula Moon Villa! We have stayed at the Marriott next to Kolea previously, but staying here was so much more relaxing and enjoyable. The Kolea complex is beautiful, quiet and perfectly located. The condo itself was very clean and came with everything that we would need. We particularly liked having beach chairs and umbrellas as we have had to buy those in the past. We loved walking to the shops and to dinner nightly. Communication with the owner was prompt. We loved every minute, and will be back next year!

You Won't Be Disappointed

This is a lovely, clean, modern, comfortable condo that is only 5 minutes to the swimming pool and another 5 minutes to a white sand beach (rare on the Kona side of the island). Even the sprawling Hilton to the north of the condo development does not have a nice beach like this one. You'll have a great time here!P.S. When you look for the hideakey, note that the lockbox is on the 3rd floor where the unit is.

Fantastic Big Island Property w/ Perfect Location

We had an incredible weeklong stay at the Hula Moon Villa. The check-in process was incredibly easy, the condo is immaculately maintained, beds are super comfortable, and the owners have provided all the amenities you could need! The kitchen is well stocked, beach towels are provided, and all kinds of beach equipment is available for use, including chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, etc. The location is also fantastic. So much is within walking distance - < 5 min walk to incredible A-bay beach, 5 min walk to the Marriott, 7 min walk down the beach to Lava Lava Beach club. The Hilton, Kings' Shops, and Queens' Marketplace are all between 10 - 15 mins walking. So convenient! Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Best time ever in Hula Moon!

We had a great time and were lucky to find Hula Moon at Kolea! This is the best place to stay on Big Island if you want a relaxed vacation . The villa has everything you need for longer stay , very spatial and comfortable. The Kolea itself is a gem with very nice landscaping, pool, hot tub and a relaxing vibe. It is only a few steps from the beach and restaurants. We have been many times to Big Island and stayed in Mariott, Hilton, and other villas in the area. Hands down, Kolea is the best deal you can possibly get!

The property owner was great with communication, and very kind to compile a list of activities and asked the age of my children to be more specific. The location was walking distance to many activities we enjoyed. I will definitely look at this condo when coming back to the Big Island. Very enjoyable vacation!

Absolutely loved our stay. The home is top floor, beautiful inside and out, close to great shops, beaches. Facilities are top of the line. Spent time at the pool, the beach, walking. Loved the grill on the deck, and listening to birds on the deck in the mornings. AC and ceiling fans worked beautifully. Beds were comfortable too.

Perfect condo for a Hawaiian getaway

This condo was so perfect for our vacation. It was comfortable, super clean and conveniently located. The beds were so co for table and we all slept so well. It’s an easy and short walk down to the beach and we went down there every day to read and swim. In the morning we sat on the lanai and just relaxed. Communication was super easy and quick leading up to our stay. We had an amazing experience and would rent this unit again in a heartbeat.
