'Zeer gedateerde en kleine appartementen. Doet me denken aan een jeugdherberg in de jaren 70. Het gebouw is in zeer slechte staat van onderhoud. Wat dat betreft stevige prijs die kennelijk alleen gebaseerd is op de ligging ten opzichte Tongariro National Park. Het skigebied bij Whakapa is echter nog steeds een half uur rijden, dus niet heel dichtbij. Wat mij betreft geen aanrader.'

'Nice location and nice stay. We only had a one night trip in March which we had to do with skiing. Central location for visiting the park This place is set up for skiers. Actually the entire town is, and this maybe one of the nicer ones judging by walking around town. It was roomy for the 2 and could sleep at 6 comfortably. The deck was nice and the kitchen. On the flip side there was no bbq to be found as advertised and no heat for our chilly night. The wood stove could easily have been used if...

'Had an excellent stay! Hosts were wonderful and very accommodating for anything that was needed. Check-in/out was smooth and the property had everything we needed, including a continental breakfast provided by the hosts!Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again when driving through.'
