The view was amazing and the house was very comfy.The pillows could be improved, but other than that, no complaints. You can request linens, at an extra cost, if you're travelling from overseas like we were'

'Great for big gathering s. Everything you need in the kitchen. Probably a wee bit over priced. Absolutely need wifi. Enjoyed iur stay, would book again with wifi and a wee bit cheaper. '

'The man that ran the place was very kind and straight to the point heaps of utilities in the kitchen so you wouldn’t have to bring a whole pan or potato masher, the kitchen and toilet are shared but it was still great. The heater was warm and me and my friends had a great time '

'It’s perfect for a little family. The property is clean, neat and comfortable. Some board games available for kids. Has good heating and all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Our family will definitely be back. '

'We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by...

'Stayed for just one night in this lovely, character-filled home to watch our daughter run the Tongariro Goat the next day (usually stay for two nights but unfortunately couldn't this time).What a great place! So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. Definitely want to come back and enjoy the place more fully, including the hot tub!Sienna was fantastic to deal with.Many thanks .'

'The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property '

'We loved this property - had everything we needed to cook for our combined families, was low-mainenance and nice open plan with plenty of space, had lots of books and toys for the kids plus family DVDs, and watching the sunrise across the beautiful view (but also with privacy) and the logburner going was bliss. The only other thing we could have wished for was a spa pool ;) Would love to stay here again!'
