'Exceptional location, close proximity to supermarket, places to eat and the mount! It surprised us how well the house is stocked and everything is in great condition and plenty of life!The house is toasty warm with the fireplace going! There is plenty of space, and upstairs is great fun for the kids! Having a dog friendly accommodation that has been well looked after is absolutely amazing! Above all - our host was super accommodating when we got stuck on the mountain for longer than anticipated!...

'We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. '

'Clean. Well equipped with anything you would need on a trip. Heaters etc. kept warm and cozy which was great as the terrible weather unfortunately kept us in all weekend.'

'Zeer gedateerde en kleine appartementen. Doet me denken aan een jeugdherberg in de jaren 70. Het gebouw is in zeer slechte staat van onderhoud. Wat dat betreft stevige prijs die kennelijk alleen gebaseerd is op de ligging ten opzichte Tongariro National Park. Het skigebied bij Whakapa is echter nog steeds een half uur rijden, dus niet heel dichtbij. Wat mij betreft geen aanrader.'
