Beach House Getaway, op steenworp afstand van het strand

In een doodlopende privéstrook ontdekt u ons rustgevende huis. Er is veel natuurlijk licht in dit huis met de grote ramen en dakraam. Er zijn gedeeltelijk uitzicht op de oceaan vanuit het huis en het voordek met het strand op slechts een korte loopafstand (2 minuten). Mijlen en mijlen van het strand zijn er voor de verkenning en het is een gemakkelijke wandeling naar het schilderachtige stadje Waldport of het naastgelegen Patterson Beach State Park.

Het huis beschikt over een grote slaapkamer met een kingsize bed en een groot bad met een bad en douche. De tweede slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed. De derde slaapkamer heeft een uitschuifbed (2 slaapplaatsen). Er is een grote woonkamer met een bank (2 slaapplaatsen), ligstoelen, tv-entertainmentcentrum met kabel-tv en dvd. Alle slaapkamers zijn voorzien van kabel-tv. Open eetkamer met kookeiland en inloopkast. Complete badkamer uit bijkeuken en hal.
Buiten is er een groot overdekt achterdek en open voordek.

De locatie is net zo handig als ze aan de kust van Oregon komen. Waldport ligt op slechts enkele minuten afstand en beschikt over restaurants, boodschappen, etc. Waldport is de thuisbasis van de baai van Alsea, waar krabben van wereldklasse en zalmvissen wordt gebruikt. Waldport heeft de 9 holes Crestview Golfbaan minder dan een 1/4 mijl van ons huis. Kustoriëntatiepunten zoals Seal Rock, Devil's Churn, Cooks 'Chasm, Spouting Horn en Cape Perpetua liggen op minder dan 16 km afstand. In het noorden is 16 mijl Newport, waar u het Oregon Coast Aquarium, Hatfield Marine Science Centre, Rogue Brewery en de historische Newport Waterfront kunt bezoeken.

Comfortable bright beach home. Very well supplied. Short drive/walk to miles of sandy beach. Reasonable driving distances to several quaint beach towns. Nice westside deck for evening/sunset viewing. Sunny eastside covered deck for enjoying your morning libations. Yes, we will be back to this home away from home beach house.

Lovely house with ocean views

We stayed here for a few days in July and had a lovely time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. You can see the ocean from the living room, and there is a nice back porch. The neighborhood was quite, and you couldn't hear any road noise. You can walk to the beach through the neighborhood, but it's quite a steep drop to the first step on the makeshift stairs once you reach the beach. If you have mobility concerns, you can also access the beach from the Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site, which has an entrance the next street down.

Home away from home.

We enjoyed our stay! Having a beach access and views of the ocean from the living room was high on our list. It did not disappoint. It was a quite street. The beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for exporting both North and South on the coast. We did a fishing trip with Trade Winds out of Newport and had a great experience.

We have stayed here 3 years in a row. It feels like home. The house has all the amenities anyone needs for a wonderful vacation. We love it. We are booked for next year. Don't hesitate, if your family likes a beach vacation, you can do no better than this cozy home away from home.

Definitely needs some maintenance

Overall, the place is comfortable and well-stocked. The beach access is nice and neighborhood is quiet. There is definitely wear and tear showing in the house. We noticed that the front door is very sticky to open during the day, but at night it was next to impossible to get the door open. I literally had to have my husband help open the door. If there were ever a fire there, this is going to be a death trap. The master shower was not draining at all, and my husband ended up fishing a disgusting, smelly glob of hair out of the drain the size of a muskrat. I took a picture of it, but I can't insert a pic here. One of the sinks in the master didn't drain either. You'd think the cleaning people would notice and address that. The towels all smelled musty and like they'd be left to sit and stew in the washer for too long. Ick. Like I said, this place was OK, but not great. We wouldn't stay here again.

The perfect place for us!

Everything was as described except the walk to the beach isn't 5 minutes--more like one minute! The walk itself is pleasant as well. The beach is great, the house is great, the back yard has bunnies and hummingbirds all around. The house itself is roomy and supplied with everything you need. And Waldport is close to other popular places like Newport, Depot Bay, and Yachats. I like that it is a smaller town than the others places, but it also has plenty of great stores and things to browse. My whole family loved it!

Perfect home away from home

This was the perfect place for our spring break vacation. Lots of little things just incase you forgot them. Tons of puzzles and games for those rainy days. The extras in the shed were awesome, we hoped to try out the kites but weather didn't co-operate. Super easy access to the beach! My girls 2 and 6 were super excited about all of the VHS movies and watched many of them while relaxing in bed after a busy day at the beach.

One of two locations we utilized for base camps while visiting Oregon coast. It proved to be a wonderful experience. This rental has everything you need for meal preparations etc. Very comfortable also, including chairs and beds.
