Good Rental for the Rate

We stayed in this property while our son played baseball in Cartersville. The property was clean and looks as advertised. The steps are challenging leading up to the house so someone should keep that in mind if there are mobility issues. The mattresses and linens should be upgraded. No one slept great. All in all, I am pleased with the rental because the nightly rate compensated for some of the average features.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I wish I could leave a positive review, but our experience at this property was truly disappointing. Right from the start, we noticed cockroaches in multiple areas of the house. It's one thing to see a bug or two on vacation, but the issue here was clearly more than that!!! This was incredibly distressing and made it hard to relax or feel comfortable in the space. We contacted the host immediately, hoping they would address the issue or, at the very least, offer a partial refund. Unfortunately, the host was unresponsive to our concerns, dismissive when we finally reached them, and refused any sort of compensation. We were left feeling stranded in a property that didn’t meet basic cleanliness standards, with a host who seemed to prioritize profit over guest experience. After trying to resolve this with no luck, we ended up leaving early at our own expense. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. It's a shame because the home had potential, but cleanliness and good customer service are basic expectations—both of which were severely lacking here. Avoid if you’re looking for a stress-free stay.

Nice location but not worth the money

The house was overall nice. The housekeeping could have done a better job. Didn’t appear that a thorough job had been done; pacifier under bed, trash on floor in kitchen, refrigerator with old food particles and the most concerning was the dirty intake filter for a/c. I notice these due to allergies. The main disappointment was the microwave did not work. After preparing and bringing our food that would need to be reheated, we ended up having to go out and eat which defeated our purpose of saving money. Plus, concern that housekeeping did not notice this when cleaning and notify host. Another issue was the description had King, Queen and Full bedding. We had planned to put 3 small children in the King and adults in the other so we had to adjust sleeping arrangements which ended up with one sleeping on the sofa. This due to personal preference of course, but would not have chose that home if knew ahead of time. Our overall experience is that it was a costly 2 night stay. Will pay closer attention to all fees next time.
