The Barn, Classic Splendor op de South Side

De schuur is vernoemd naar wat waren eens paardenboxen en hooi lofts. Het is een stijlvol gerestaureerde schuur die is omgetoverd tot een prachtig gastenverblijf. De schuur biedt u alles wat u nodig hebt om te verblijven voor het weekend, een week of zelfs een maand. Het biedt comfortabel plaats aan 4-5 gasten. De begane grond is voorzien van een comfortabele woonkamer en eetkamer banquette compleet met een boerderij bank ideaal om te ontspannen, lezen, tv kijken en dineren. De keuken is volledig gevuld en klaar voor gebruik met roestvrij apparatuur, gasfornuis, schort voor wastafel, rustieke beton werkbladen open rekken en ten slotte goede koffie! De master bedroom is voorzien van een kingsize bed met gezellige beddengoed en ganzen donzen dekbedden. Het hok is zijn eigen prive-retraite, compleet met queen bed, gekleed in de top-of-line beddengoed. De belangrijkste bad heeft een rustieke tuimelde steen walk-in douche en spa kwaliteit handdoeken. Een van onze favoriete delen van de schuur is het grote prive-terras waar u kunt BBQ op uw eigen gas grill en praten met familie en vrienden tijdens de vergadering rond de ruime tafel en vuurplaats. Fietsen zijn te huur binnenstad en we raden u gebruikt om de lokale wijnkelders te bezoeken en te genieten van het schilderachtige platteland. Zelfs met de landelijke omgeving, je bent slechts 3 mijl afstand van het centrum.

Nice and cozy layout. Kitchen well supplied. Wine and cookies were nice touch. Shower was awesome. This is in semi-countryside, so if you meet a couple of bugs, politely escort them out and forgive the owners. Less then 5-minutes from some awesome vineyards. Great for a couple. Would definitely rent this again.

Meg and her family are excellent hosts. We loved staying in the Barn and hope to be back. The property was beautiful and very clean. It is well stocked with everything you would need to cook for a family. It is just a short drive to downtown Walla Walla however it's still in the beautiful countryside. The location is amazing.

Perfect Stay!

This was our second stay at the barn and we’re already looking forward to the next! Such a charming, clean place and the patio, a fun, sunny spot to relax. The host is wonderful and has thought of everything. There was even a nice bottle of wine waiting upon our arrival. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect way to relax on the Southside

We had an amazing getaway at The Barn. Megan and her two pups were the bests hosts we could ask for, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. And it was an ideal spot to be literally minutes away from our favorite wineries. We'll be back and we'll be telling our friends!

My friend and I had the most amazing stay! Meg and her family were gracious and accommodating, The Barn was so cozy and comfy, The bed was like slipping into a cloud with all of the softness. Special touches everywhere from the host family. Such a great experience, you will not be disappointed.

The Barn on Braden

No doubt, this was the best property that we've had the pleasure of staying at in Walla Walla. The Barn is way bigger on the inside than it seems. Meg had some absolutely incredible white chocolate macadamia nut cookies the size of saucers waiting for us, and the outdoor fire pit was lovely to sit around both in the evening as well as the morning with a cup of coffee. 11/10, would recommend, and we'll definitely be staying there the next time we come down for another wine tour.

Four nights at the Barn.

A beautifully laid out and well constructed residence, adjacent to the owner's home but well screened and private, private driveway entrance, and a large and lovely, private and protected outdoor lounging, dining and fire pit area. Very close to but not right in town, with a decidedly rural feel. Many very nice touches, like ample towels, a welcoming bottle of wine, etc. My favorite was that the coffee maker was all set up -- just a push of a button for the first morning's coffee.

Romantic Getaway

This is the perfect place to have a romantic getaway. The location is perfect for visiting many of the wineries on bicycles on the Southside. The Barn is beautifully arranged with many amenities including a super soft bed with amazing pillows. We will definitely stay here again!

The Barn is absolutely magical. The location, setting, and design of the property instantly makes you happy. It is extremely well-appointed inside and out. The host has seemingly thought of everything and has made personal touches that make you feel very special. This spot has everything you need in a vrbo. Cute town nearby, a yard, parking, laundry, all the kitchen items you could imagine. The family that owns it is right on the property, super friendly but they give you space too. Great property, we hope to be back soon!

Unique property w/on-site assistance

Megan and family were great! They were right there when we needed some assistance on 2 separate days. Megan left some goodies for us as well. I really appreciate the fresh flowers in vases as I do this at my home. Unique property! We made use of the grill as well as the "fire table" which was a welcome change from the hotels/and city life we experienced the rest of the trip. Very relaxing! Hope to make it out again someday....

A Most Perfect Stay

If the modest Host description and photos intrigue you, I am here to tell you the Barn is even so much better. This property is perfect in every way you would expect for a wonderful restful serene getaway. The neighborhood is centrally located and at night, is very quiet and peaceful. The warm and lovely Host missed her calling as she could be a very skilled real estate stager as the home is brilliantly created and meticulously prepared down to every detail. The kitchen has everything you could need and there is even an outdoor grill with comfortable outdoor furniture and fire pit, to enjoy when the weather permits. The bed is comfortable with great pillows and linens, and plenty of closet space. The temperature in the home is customizable with fans in several areas to adjust and was always comfortable for us. The bathroom is well done and, again, has every convenience you could think of even including special makeup removal towels. As a REALTOR for the past 40 years I am never certain what to expect from Host's online presentation, but this property is truly a 5 star experience and we have already made our reservations to stay next year in wonderful Walla Walla.

The Barn was perfect for our birthday getaway. Good location in a quite area. Decorated well and Meg thought of everything including champagne and homemade Carmel Corn. The Barn was very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Cozy barn retreat

This barn home is awesome. Meg has seriously put so much thought into making this space as relaxing and comfortable as possible. From the sweet snack upon our arrival, to the essential oil diffuser and bathrobes, she’s thought of it all! The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and there’s a miscellaneous drawer with chargers and anything a guest may need. Overall we had a really great stay and would absolutely stay again.

The location is great. Close to town and surrounded by wineries. Property was super clean, smelled awesome, and the owner goes out of the way to make you feel like family or friends. If you have a small group this is the place. If I could leave 6 stars I would.
