It was great to go outside with our dogs and hang out since it is fenced in. That takes away a lot of worry when we are on vacation. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We slept well. The house has everything that you need to be comfortable. We will definitely return. The host is excellent!

Nicely updated farmhouse on great property. Lots of rooms to spread out and big dining room for everyone to gather for meals. Well supplied kitchen made cooking easy. Great communications with owners when weather got bad and for instructions using fireplace. Would stay again when in area.

Peaceful escape

We had a lovely weekend at Simone’s placeWonderful hiking nearby and a peaceful escape from the city. We got to have our favorite Catskills pizza at Ollies in High Falls and see fireflies in the yard at night. Clean and well appointed and would certainly come back again.

We absolutely loved staying at this Eden-like property. Our goal was to just relax, and when we got out of the car after a long, fairly stressful drive, all we heard was birds chirping and all we smelled was honeysuckles. Just lovely. The Farmhouse has everything you need to feel at home, with a user-friendly, updated kitchen, comfy bed (we just used the master bedroom) and a deep soaking tub in the master bathroom. The house has been so thoughtfully and tastefully updated so that the vintage atmosphere of the farmhouse has been honored, yet there are so many modern details and comforts. And even though it feelsg like another world there, New Paltz is but a quick, easy drive away--as are other many other activities. We were only there for a few days and our main goal was to catch up on some work, read and just VEGETATE! We were very sad to leave and already wondering when we can try to go back! : )

Lovely property with room for our pup to play!

This home has been updated nicely and is situated on a nice amount of land to take your pup for a nice walk during the mornings and whenever you are "at home." The kitchen has been well renovated and the beds are very comfy. Close to lots of good hiking and food in New Paltz and the surrounding area. Simone is a responsive host.

Fantastic Family Celebration

We rented this property for my mother’s 75th birthday surprise. We had a wonderful time celebrating and enjoying the Hudson Valley. The house is charming - and exactly as pictured. Rustic with high end upgrades (especially the kitchen and the three beautiful bathrooms). The property is large, scenic and private. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

Great communication with owner - very helpful and quick to respond. Simone did anything she could to make our stay a success. Renovated old farmhouse on beautiful property. Well done renovated bathrooms. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking. We had two toddlers and there are several short steps inside that we needed to keep close watch on around the steps.
