Greetings Claudia We refer to your visit to The Langholm at the beginning of October which we greatly appreciate. For the record, no upfront request was made for an early check-in on the Saturday morning. You and your husband arrived mid-morning and in your words "we are taking a chance to enquire whether we can check in now". Wit The Langholm enjoying maximum capacity most evening's guests have till around 10h00 to vacate their rooms. The guest who was occupying the room assigned to you just so happened to be still in the room at the time you arrived at the hotel. The manager offered for you to leave your bags at the hotel and for you to return later to collect the keys. We are really sorry that you felt it necessary to penalise us through your review of 3/5. We normally go the extra mile for every request made - yours was just one that could not be entertained. We hope you found everything else about your stay to be 3/3. Kind regards Nic
