Welkom bij de prachtige Jim Creek Cabin!  We zijn zo blij dat je onze prachtige locatie met zijn uitzicht op de bergen, activiteiten en dieren in het wild wilt komen delen.  Jim Creek Cabin ligt ongeveer halverwege tussen Yellowstone National Park en Cody, Wyoming, en biedt een uitstekend basiskamp voor al je avonturen in het noordwesten van Wyoming.  Omringd door het Absaroka-gebergte en begrensd door Jim Creek, biedt deze hut comfortabele bedden, warme douches, een volledige keuken en ruimte om te ontspannen gecombineerd met gemakkelijke toegang tot avontuur.  De hut ligt op slechts 1/4 mijl van de Jim Mountain Trailhead voor toegang tot het Shoshone National Forest.  



 

Naast Cody en Yellowstone omvatten lokale buitenattracties ook:

* Hunting - Hunters let op: deze hut ligt naast de Jim Mountain Trailhead en heeft een uitstekende toegang voor elandeenheden 53 en 56, herteneenheid 111 en schapeneenheid 2, naast de nabijheid van alle North Fork-eenheden.  De hut is jacht- en visvriendelijk en het hele jaar door beschikbaar.

Opmerking: eigendom is ongeveer 2 mijl een onverharde en onverharde weg die op een paar plaatsen steil en ruw is. We zijn er gemakkelijk mee gereden in auto's met voorwielaandrijving, maar sommige voertuigen zijn er mogelijk niet geschikt voor en sommige bestuurders voelen zich er misschien niet prettig bij.

* Geen AC, maar plafondventilatoren bevinden zich in de twee grootste kamers en de temperaturen koelen 's nachts meestal af tot de jaren 50.

* Het nabijgelegen Yellowstone Valley Inn heeft wasfaciliteiten die u kunt gebruiken.  Yellowstone Valley Inn heeft ook een uitstekend menu als u uit eten wilt gaan.

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The views were absolutely stunning. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Peaceful The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We spent most days hiking nearby trails, relaxing on the porch, and enjoying quality time with family in the fresh mountain air. It was the ideal place to unplug and reconnect.Pat was incredibly friendly and helpful and made sure we felt right at home. We can’t recommend this home enough. If you’re looking for a scenic, serene getaway with all the comforts of home, this is it. We’re already talking about coming back!

Very nice, cozy, high up, well equipped cabin.

The cabin is very nice. Seems newer as of this date, 6-25. Sleeps 4 comfortably but more is possible but not recommended, regardless of Murphy bed. Plenty of room for 4 to move around and not feel cramped. After all, you never know what the weather will be like and if you will be forced to stay indoors while at the cabin.Ad does not state that there is no AC on main pages. Wife drilled down some and found a reference to it on a sub page. If we had known, we would not have booked this cabin. It turned out okay since it did cool off in the evenings and we could open the windows. However, when you have been in the sun all day and you return, you want to be in the AC. We also like to sleep in the 60's. Again, it worked out and we loved the little cabin but we probably would not book it again for that reason. One through the wall unit in the dining wall would be all that cabin needs.If your going to highlight the creek and it's associated hidden campfire spot and viewing platform, then clean the creek area up, remove some of the debris, and fix the walkway. Otherwise, the creek has no value other then hearing it ramble down the hillside.

The property is exactly what we were hoping for. The owners are welcoming and generous. The views are outstanding. We didnt want to leave the property. The drive up there is windy, but the road was in great shape and the perk of it is the view from the top of the mountain. The cabin is very thoughtfully stocked with nice cookware and the grill was lovely. We really appreciated having the cast iron to cook on. There were binoculars and maps and the front seating area was delightful. The whole property is beautiful and rugged and exactly what we were hoping for.

Gorgeous views

Perfect Cody Getaway

This property is in a perfect location between Cody and Yellowstone National Park. Our family had a wonderful stay in Wapiti. The views from the property were simply amazing, there was accessible hiking on the property, and the kitchen had everything needed to make a great meal for the family. We enjoyed our stay, very much!

Beautiful mountain get away

This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of 5. The surrounding area is a bit pricey for eating out, so we saved a ton of money cooking at the cabin. The owner stopped by to say hello after we first arrived and were able to answer questions we had about the area and trails. It is very clearly stated that there is no washer and dryer, so it wasn’t a surprise. The views were amazing. Staying in July with no a/c was not an issue. Would definitely stay again.

We were very familiar with wapiti. Great views at high altitude. Cute small cabin. Only negative is no closet space at all. We had to live out of suitcase for a week. Would have been tight with more than 2 people. We used bunk beds as dresser space. Otherwise it was great.

Amazing

This was our first VRBO stay and we will be back! The cabin was perfect and exactly as describe and more. Very clean, comfortable bed, great location and the views are amazing. The road to the cabin was a little unexpected but certainly got us ready for the area. No issues with the road, take it easy and enjoy the views along the way. Sleeping with the window open and seeing the stars was a great relief from the Texas heat!

Cute Little Cabin

The cabin itself is very cute and clean. We enjoyed what little time we spent there. It is however, an hour away from Yellowstone’s East entrance rather then the 35 minutes quoted. Also for guest knowledge, there are no closets or dressers so be prepared to live out of your suitcase as there is nowhere to put your belongings.

Cozy getaway, with gorgeous views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owner was very nice. Recommended some very good restaurants in Cody and a grocery store, so we could buy a few groceries. The cabin was very clean and sufficient for our 3 day stay. We cooked breakfast and pack our lunch for our day trips into Yellowstone! Would stay here again if we ever make it out this way! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Scenic Mountain Cabin

Very comfortable, clean, and cozy!

Booked it online for 3 nights. We changed it to 2 nights later so we could spend more time traveling and they were very accommodating. I received emails updating me on the check in and out procedure. The cabin was perfect. We did activities near the cabin and hung out there for some down time and rest. The queen bed was very comfortable. The kids liked the bunk beds and murphy bed. The cabin had a full fridge, gas cook stove and oven, and full kitchen with dishwasher, pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware. We wish there was a washer and dryer but we new there would not be based on the listing. The table seats 6 and the cabin sleeps 6 comfortably. There was a gas fake wood stove that was warm and gave an open fire feel. The bathroom was good size with a standard tub/shower and nice hot water. Everything was very clean. There was a fire pit with wood supplied and gas grill if desired. We used fire pit for smores and hot dogs, and the grill for steaks. We also hiked right behind the cabin which was fun and beautiful. I would stay here again for sure!
