What a Nice Stay
My wife, our dog and cat, and I spent Thanksgiving weekend here, and really enjoyed it. The house is very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the farm property offers lots of great walking and nice vistas. Beth's farmstand, just 2 miles away, is one of the best in Maine, and if your party includes a woodworker, the LIe Nielsen toolworks showroom is just a mile off. Our hosts communicated with us easily and were helpful with anything we needed. Nice folks, nice place, nice time.

Great location
My wife and I stayed here for a 5 day weekend getaway with our dogs. The house was perfect for us. A screened porch and mudroom for hitching up the dogs and cleaning them off after our adventures. A well stocked kitchen with all the pots pans and tools to cook up a good meal, including a lobster pot. The living room had a new smart TV and WiFi that was plenty fast enough for streaming. We liked that there were king beds, but one was Super soft and not the most comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of HOT water. Our two Labradors gave their seal of approval to the many farm roads and hay fields they got to explore on the property. But their favorite part of the stay was swimming in the two spring fed ponds near the house and the big lake at the back of the property. They were spoiled by having such easy access to water. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to return next year. A quick warning for those considering this property - it is located on a working farm. And there's farm equipment working the property pretty much any time it's light out. It didn't bother me at all - except that I didn't get to drive the loader - but people looking for absolute quiet may be disappointed to hear a tractor rumble by the house or across the field at 8 a.m. on a Sunday.

Lobster festival
Our stay was fabulous. Loved the little farm house and the working farm. It was neat staying in a house because it was nothing like the houses we have in Louisiana. Dawn stayed in contact with use throughout our trip, allowing us to check in early if need be and allowed use to check out at one. We would definitely stay here again. Nice and easy stay
I enjoyed the kitchen, it was easy to find things and there are plenty of dishes and glassware to choose from. Also the tv was easy; I usually struggle with this :]. My dogs and I were very comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and non-intrusive. This is a homey and clean farmhouse.

We enjoyed the very well equipped and comfortable house located on a quiet road just off Rt 1 South in Warren. The house was well kept, had everything we could need and the kitchen especially, had all the utensils for cooking meals.

Jack, I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay at our property. Everyone else has greatly enjoyed it. Address, directions, access details and much more were communicated to you through the website, that you didn't respond to. I did answer all your phone calls asking for directions and access and refunded you a day when you left early. It states we are a working farm, there is no junkyard here. Yes, we have been trying to update windows and siding between guests, nothing that will affect your stay. You chose the location not us. It is very central to many attractions local, north and south. 12 miles to the ocean and half a mile off route 1.

Fantastic Property
I thoroughly enjoyed my week long stay at Reunion Grove Farm. Communication was great with Dawn and Dan and they were close by and available if needed. I stayed with my beagle rescue dog while visiting family nearby and totally enjoyed spending time just relaxing at the clean farmhouse and taking walks to the pond. The house had everything needed for cooking and I discovered that I love Roku TV (& there were lots of other choices too) and the WiFi worked great. The grounds and landscaping are beautiful with a great apple tree to relax under. The fresh air and nice breeze was very welcoming to me, coming from the heat and humidity of SC. The property is really amazing and I will definitely want to stay again whenever I visit the area.

Great location, scenery. Enjoyed plowing of fields, tractor. Good experience for suburban/urban grandkids. Swim pond was indeed refreshing on hot day. Went to pond where kayak stored. Didn’t go on the water but it was a beautiful scene at dusk.

A great temporary home for our weekend away in Maine
We had a terrific time staying in this cozy farmhouse. The view over the farmland from the front porch was a fantastic highlight. Watching bluebirds dart about is a great way to start one's morning. The beds were comfortable and the space was quaint and had everything we needed. Very conveniently located near Rockland and not too far from Camden (we drove to each downtown area twice during our brief stay). It was nice to find a lower-cost option (for 4 adults) rather than staying closer to the more touristy areas. While we didn't meet Dan or Dawn their communication was friendly and on point. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Loved this little house. It was everything we needed and wanted. It is almost dead center of all the areas we wanted to visit between Portland and Bar Harbor. The owners were very helpful! Hope to return soon!

My family and I loved the house. It has a wonderful screen porch, a pleasant kitchen/dining room that is well supplied with dishes, cookware, etc. The living room is comfortable with seating for at least 6 adults. Excellent internet access and TV viewing. Rural farm area was pretty and quiet. My sister and her dog loved the walk to the pond. Fans were available to cool the house down. Communication with host was great. We would happily return again.

We found the house to be charming and cozy for 3 plus a small dog. House is quiet for down time but close enough to bigger towns like Rockland, Bath, and Camden to be convenient. The property owners are so friendly and warm and even went out of their way to help us change our flat tire. House has everything you need. If you plan to do a lot cooking you may want to bring a good all-purpose pan and knife to supplement what's provided. There's a helpful binder full of information on where to go and what to do that is thoughtfully provided by the hosts. Excellent experience and would book again for a return trip.

Such a Nice Getaway
We really enjoyed our 5 days at the Reunion Grove Farm. The farmhouse was very well equipped, and very cozy. We especially enjoyed the comfortable farm eat-in kitchen. It also had a big screened porch with a nice table and chairs and a great view looking down over many beautiful acres of growing vegetables. Dawn and Dan are kind and friendly, and very accommodating to any need. It is situated in an area that offers easy access to several beautiful Maine coastal towns, too. We would definitely want to repeat our stay at this idyllic setting if we ever get back to mid-coast Maine again.

Peaceful farm experience with excellent hosts
Dan and Dawn are friendly and attentive hosts who take pride in their farm and properties. The house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. No cable or internet most of the time (there is WiFi but not strong) which meant we had a break from screens and back to basics which we enjoyed. Great selection of DVDs to watch in the downtime! Cozy home in a convenient location for siteseeing. Seems especially good if you have dog(s) which we didn’t but I think they would love walking the property. Highly recommend!

Terrific home and location
We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was exactly as described in the listing and centrally located to all we wanted to see along the coast of Maine. We were able to take a beautiful, scenic day trip up to Acadia, explore the local towns and lighthouses and head down to Freeport for outlet shopping. Dawn and Daniel were excellent hosts. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Maine Farmhouse
We had a great week in Maine. The location is within a short drive (10-20 minutes) of Thomaston, Rockland, Rockport and Camden. All of which have restaurants, shopping, ice cream, etc. The house is located on a working farm and reminded us of going to Grandma’s house, which for us, brings back many good memories. Dawn and Dan were super nice and were helpful with anything that we needed.

Excellent stay
We stayed at this house for the Easter holiday, and Dan and Dawn were gracious hosts. We arrived to see the kitchen table with a cute Easter tablecloth, beautiful flowers, and some Easter candy, which was all very thoughtful. In addition, they also accommodated our early morning check-in request on day of arrival which was very much appreciated. The house had all the basics for our stay, and it was conveniently located to Route 1. The pictures posted in the listing are a good representation of the house.

Cozy peace in the country
The property was clean, quiet, warm, and cozy. The owners were extremely helpful, available, and prompt to reply to any concerns. When we lost water pressure one evening they came over immediately and fixed the problem. When we accidently broke the coffee carafe she wasn't upset at all. We also got to try some yummy produce from their farm. We were surprised by the huge mud room! We were able to put all our work things in there. The family was able to help us move some ship masts, so wonderful! They are an extremely kind family with a wonderful cozy home. Everyone enjoyed the home, including our cat. Plenty of room for everyone in the house and outside on the screened in porch. The washer and dryer facilities were great. Lot of gorgeous nature in the fall complete with the sounds of coyotes at night, if you listen close. We took a hike out to the pond, very lovely, and enjoyed the local produce market they suggested, very yummy. As it is the countryside, it is dark in the evenings (no street lights) so you may need to use a flashlight or your phone flashlight if you are walking to the car when there is no moon out. A cozy house in the country right next to their farm. Very happy guests!

Reunion Grove Farm
Picturesque, cozy, quiet, clean little farm house. Surrounded by farmland that at first I thought might be noisy. Much to our delight it was worked on daily but we rarely heard a peep. Yet close to so many sites and rocky coastline. We stayed a week and plan on staying in the future. Dawn and Don were quick to respond when we locked yourself out. Or anytime we had questions! Would recommend this rental unless you are afraid of peace, quiet and natures beauty.

Wonderful Stay
We loved staying at the farmhouse, surrounded by the farm. Laura loved coming in to fresh flowers, our daughters greatly enjoyed canoeing on the lake twice. Our dog had a wonderful time romping around on the way down to the lake. We had only a short visit, but it was everything that we wanted in terms of feeling refreshed and relaxed afterwards.

Rustic Farm House Retreat
We really enjoying staying at Dan & Dawn's farm house. It was a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of hotel living. We were able to spread out and have lots of quiet time. We were fortunate that the weather was slightly cooler the days we stayed there since there wasn't AC it got pretty warm in the evening but with windows open and multiple fans running, we managed. Our kids were pretty surprised to not have TV (no cable or antenna connection) for a couple of days but we enjoyed watching a movie each night as a family (there was a great selection to pick from!) The well water had a pretty significant sulfur smell and taste but we used bottled water and filter water was provided. The highlight of the stay was going out on North Pond (a pretty rough and bumpy trail to get to). It was so much fun to canoe and paddle boat out there. We felt like we had he place to ourselves. Dan and Dawn were very hospitable and I would certainly stay again, just during a cooler season.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay on the farm and look forward to you visiting again. The weather was beautiful while you were here. Great breeze most of the time to keep things cool. The property details state that there is no A/C or cable television. Free Wi-fi is provided. It's about a 10 minute walk to the pond from the house. The road is for tractor access, nothing fancy. The water has a slight sulfur odor, it is safe and has been tested. We lived there for over 15 yrs. with no issues. It was a pleasure to meet you.
