I must say your place is very beautiful, but I was very surprised to see that It really wasn’t cleaned properly before we got there. It felt like to me and my family that it was just opened up for the season and they forgot to vacuum all the cobwebs And insects in the corners. The rugs were a little dirty also too, and the place really smelled like wood fire smoke. I went to use the washing machine and it was covered in dust and dirt. The hot tub had way too much chlorine in it so it burned our eyes.
When I arrived by myself without the rest of the family, I wanted to take a shower and the water did not get very hot at all, even though it was hot water on demand. So when I tried to adjust the temperature, the handle for the shower fell off in my hand. I hate to be so picky, but these things are really important to me. One other thing that really didn’t sit well with me was all the stickers and all the notes. I know you have to deal with a different lot of people all the time, but it was very confusing. Notes on the table plenty for us. I must say, though, that Julie the host was very accommodating and gracious, and again I will say it is a beautiful place, but really needed the upkeep of cleaning and other issues.
