'I stayed with my family of 5 and we had plenty of room. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room overlooked Lake Superior which was lovely. My son enjoyed the workout room and my whole family absolutely loved the pool area. This is a very nice hotel and the price can’t be beat!! Looking forward to staying again in the future!'

'Beds are not comfy, duct tape on the windows curtains, closet door fell off when opened, in house restaurant was pricey and mediocre at best, asked for medium rare ribeye, got well done. Housekeeping walked into the room without knocking, 2 hours before checkout, as I was standing right there naked fresh out of the shower. 'Staff was pleasant and lobby offers an array of brochures of things to do in the area. ATM machine did not work in the lobby so make sure you bring cash. Room was spacious, beds very comfortable, nice TV and bathroom. We’re all very clean. Make sure you bring your own amenities because they are very scanned in your room. I was surprised when I received my bill that. an occupancy fee was added to the bill! I understand tax for city County and state but occupancy tax?! That was a first. Hotel is...

'Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Best Super 8 breakfast that was comparable to a Holiday inn express. Not just cereal and make your own waffle, very unexpected and appreciated. It would be super if all Super 8s had this breakfast. Also the best maintained Super 8 that I've experienced. The pool was super clean, very rare to see that.'

'What a wonderful place to spend our 30th wedding anniversary! Gorgeous woodworking throughout the home, beautiful landscaped grounds to walk around in, breath-taking views of Lake Superior from the wrap-around front porch, as well as amazing food for breakfast! The shower in Betty's Room was like a waterfall paradise! So wonderful! We both enjoyed our stay at this property and would highly recommend it! Thank you!'
