'I like the trail behind the hotel which leads you directly to the beach. I saw a couple of deers on the lawn who were very alert and walked away. Cozy room with fireplace. Small kitchen with all the pots and pans.'

'This is NOT a 3-star hotel, I was booked into a smaller room but expected to pay price of the more expensive room and they engaged in dishonest business practices known as 'drip pricing' they charged me $49 cleaning fee which is NOT included in the Expedia 'Total price + fees' nor is it on their own website. This is now ILLEGAL in WA and USA. The room was 1 star: sandy floor, sticky goo on the bedside table (I texted about this but never got a response), rust coming out of the bathroom faucets...

'Wonderful cabin in a convenient location for exploring the Quinault rain forest, a quieter spot to enjoy Olympic National Park. We hiked several of the nearby trails, went for a swim in the lake (cold but worth it!), and spent time skipping stones at the river just east of the property. We went grocery shopping in Aberdeen before arriving so that we'd have enough food for the entire stay, as there didn't seem to be grocery stores or many (reasonably priced) restaurants in the area.
