Welkom bij The Nest bij Twin Cedars aan de rivier de Washougal!
De studio cabine heeft een grote volledig uitgeruste keuken met eethoek, ligbad, zithoek met tv en mooie queensize log bed.
Er zijn tal van dekken, overdekt en open met zitgedeeltes, een BBQ en een vuurplaats voor gas.

Nabijgelegen winkels / eten:
Camas Antique Mall is altijd een leuke plek om te bladeren. Slechts 6,5 km stroomafwaarts is Los Dos Compadres II Mexicaans eten, Puffin Cafe heeft zijn eigen charme doordat het een drijvend restaurant is in een jachthaven aan de Columbia. In Camas is er Feest op 316, Mesa, Mill City, Beer at a Time, Caps en Taps zijn geweldige plaatsen om een hapje en een brouwsel te nemen. Deze restaurants liggen op 10 minuten rijden.

Twin Cedars Setting:
Het Nest atTwin Cedars biedt een zeer privé-omgeving met 500 voet aan het water om te verkennen. U zult genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht op de rivier en het bos. Met af en toe bezoeken van ganzen, eend, herten, adelaars, blauwe gaaien, blauwe reigers en winter steelhead. Neem uw vergunning mee, want er zijn tal van geweldige visplekken / visgaten net buiten uw deur.

Comfortable and Relaxing

We were in the area for a wedding and stayed 3 nights. We all enjoyed the beautiful location and wished we could stay longer. Additionally, the beds and pillows were clean and comfortable which is very important to us. We really had no complaints! It was a lovely stay.

Incredibly Gorgeous

The properties were outstanding! Views of the river from every room. Hank & Laurie were both so kind & helpful. The cabin had so many unique features & it was so cozy! We were so grateful to have everything we needed right there in the cabin. Thank you Hank & Laurie for making our first Vrbo experience one we'll never forget!

Location location location

Although it was a very rainy stay, it was very relaxing. The two houses were perfect for our family. We enjoyed breaks in the weather to see people out kayaking the river. The river is very close and it was very interesting to see how much it raises with the amount of rain that we had. Very enjoyable stay and I can see why this is probably a very popular spot in the summer.

A great place to gather

We celebrated my son's 18th birthday. He invited 2 friends and they had great time exploring the river with fish camera, using the sauna and plying games in their own basement sanctuary. The kitchen was will equipped. Lots of places to gather, chat and eat. I highly recommend.

Wonderful home on the river

My wife and I stayed for a week with our adult son, daughter and son in law in this amazing cozy home right on the Washougal river. Such incredible views from every room, decks and outside seating all over at different levels, even right by the water, combining a rustic feel with great comfort and a multitude of entertainment opportunities. The two attached cabins have comfortable beds and bathrooms as well as well stocked kitchens. We used the sauna a couple of days, so wonderful when used with the attached shower and a dip in the river! There are plenty of floatation devices that can be used to float down the river. Even though the property is right by the road, you don’t see it and it feels very private. There are too many unique features of this property to mention in this review. Finally and importantly, Hank is an amazing host and owner! He’ll go out of his way to make sure that you’re happy and enjoy your stay, and he’s very easy to communicate with. Everyone in the group absolutely loved this vacation!

Perfect family retreat

The entire experience of renting and staying at the river house was fantastic!! Hank met us right on time, showed us around the property, and later on when we called about internet hook up he was a tech wiz We are grandparents in town for first communion, our grandboys came to visit us and they never left They were busy with puzzles, games, watching the geese, wading in the river. We all had such a fun time it was very sad to leave for home and the racing of the rats.

Fishing and Relaxing along the Washougal

This was really an amazing weekend along the Washougal River. The house has direct access to the river, a private beach, sauna, fireplace, and was exactly what we had hoped for. Hank was super gracious, friendly, and available. We fished at the house, fished the Columbia River, ate in town, and cooked at the house. It was really a great weekend at a great house.

Amazing place!

Our family stayed here for a few days this summer (2022) and loved every min of it. Everything from the river, sauna, and location were great for our family. Funny enough one of the best aspects was not having great internet access which left the kids trying to figure out how to use the DVD player. Host was great at showing us through the house, you can tell they care deeply about their property🙌🏻 Thank you again!

What fun!!

We had a terrific week on the loveliest stretch of river! It was clean, deep and had a true lazy river allowing us to float the day away. Some shallow areas allowed us to hints for agates. And an adjacent run of falls was super fun too! The house was perfect with plenty of room for us to spread out and have down time. Two kitchens made food prep easy. Hank, the owner, was wonderful to work with and we all felt well looked after with most everything we needed in the kitchen and a great collection of floaties, water shoes. and other water stuff. We would love to stay again! Only down side was the very busy road out front. Wifi was also limited which didn’t create any issues for us.

Beautiful stay!
