'Chose this hotel because of swimming pool. It was 30 mins away from train station , don’t bank on finding a taxi as not really geared up for tourists. Luckily a man in shop called someone who took us to the hotel. We also walked into the town and it took 30 minutes. No poolside chairs for swimming pool so we borrowed a couple from the restaurant which was empty. Got shouted at for doing this and not sure why this was a problem. Hotel a bit tired but overall good value for the money.'

'The MDR staff are extremely nice. Some staff speak a bit of English while others speak very little. We know enough Thai to get our needs met. They have English menus so you can just point to what you want. Laundry is quick and efficient as well as cheap. Recommend leaving 100 baht with the laundry to ensure same day turn around.
While tipping isn't really necessary in Thailand we did leave a small amount when we ate (or had a drink) in the restaurant.'

"Aan de buitenkant ziet het er okay uit, maar de kamer was er vies en enorm slecht onderhouden. Het was zo erg dat we direct in ee buurt een ander hotel hebben gezocht en direct zijn uitgecheckt.
