Gelegen in het hart van het Fingerlakes Wine Country - onze plek in Watkins Glen NY is het perfecte vertrekpunt voor zoveel geweldige reizen! Het appartement ligt op slechts een paar minuten lopen van het Watkins Glen State Park, een landschap dat u niet mag missen! Slenter de heuvel af en je staat midden tussen de vele restaurants en winkels in het centrum. Spring in uw auto en rijd slechts een paar minuten naar beide kanten van het Seneca-meer en ga proeven in een van de kenmerkende wijnmakerijen, brouwerijen, distilleerderijen en cideries.

Dit appartement met één slaapkamer is in 2016 gerenoveerd, waarbij alle apparaten en verlichtingsarmaturen en een nieuwe badkamer zijn bijgewerkt - waardoor dit historische pand een algehele opfrisbeurt heeft! Dit is een appartement op de bovenverdieping met een prachtig uitzicht op het Seneca-meer en het schilderachtige dorpje Watkins Glen. Een groot dek is beschikbaar voor uw gebruik met een grill en meerdere zitplaatsen.

Dit appartement heeft één slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed. In de woonkamer hebben we een full-size futon. We hebben ook een groot opblaasbaar luchtbed. Dit appartement kan comfortabel 4 in het bed slapen en met de woonkamer slaapplaatsen.

Voorzieningen omvatten alle lijnen en handdoeken - badkamerproducten zoals toiletpapier, shampoo en conditioner. Volledig gevulde keuken met potten, borden en bestek en nog veel meer.

The apartment was perfect. It is so cozy and equipped with everything and I mean everything you need. The views were amazing and you could walk to restaurants, shops and of course Watkins Glen State Park. That you could walk to everything and not worry about parking was a big plus to us. The apartment is quiet and very relaxing. The ideal spot after a full day of exploring. Cleanliness was exceptional, and there was even a personal message left for us on the fridge. Thank you for sharing your beautiful hideaway with us we will defiantly be back.

Quick weekend getaway

Great place to stay with our dogs. Everything that you might want was in the place, lots of towels, coffee, even dog bowls! A short walk to lots of downtown restaurants and an easy jumping off point to drive around the lake, would highly recommend!

Great Location, Comfortable, Dog Friendly Accomodation

This VRBO was great for us. Everything that we needed (and many things that we didn't need) was supplied. The bed was very comfortable. The owner is a great man who takes great pride in his community and his properties. The location is great if you can handle a hill, and it wasn't a challenge for us, and it within walking distance to town, and we loved walking to nearby restaurants and bars. Even the visitor's center was walkable. There was live entertainment in the square one evening (we walked there ;-). If you are looking for somewhere luxurious, this isn't the place for you, but it is a lovely historical home that has today's amenities (washer/dryer, air conditioning, flat screen TV, etc.). The owners have done a great job at making this old home with great character a great place for a respite from our crazy busy lives.

Wonderful stay

The apartment is so cute and cozy. Close to everything making it easy to quickly pop in for a change of clothes or to drop of purchases. Had my breakfast on the porch and started my day with a view of the lake. Don't worry if you forgot something - the hosts have thought of everything providing so many little comfort items. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area!!

Very cozy home close to downtown

We really enjoyed staying in this little home. It is within walking distance of downtown Watkins Glen so it is very easy to walk to if you choose to do so. The inside was very clean and well kept. We liked the close proximity to various winerys and restaurants. It made it very easy to stop back and drop off our goodies we collected throughout the days we were there.

Walkable Apartment to Watkins Glen

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend in July 2023 in the upstairs front apartment. Caitlin's check-in instructions were clear and concise. The apartment was well appointed so we could cook breakfast each morning and also had a lot of thoughtful touches like extra toiletries and over the counter medicines. It was close enough for us to walk into town for dinner and not have to worry about parking. Two things to note for future travelers: 1) if you are a light sleeper, you will be able to hear the traffic coming in and out of Watkins Glen even over the hum of the window air conditioners; and 2) there is very little sink space in the bathroom to lay out toiletries which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here and would recommend Caitlin's apartment to others.

Amazing!!!

It’s difficult to summarize all the wonderful amenities this property has to offer in so few words without boring you, but this was a great location and place to stay. Caitlin and her mom Pam were available, helpful, and invested in making our stay perfect. There was not one thing that we could have needed during this stay that they didn’t provide… except maybe foot massages after our days of adventures! Every kitchen, bathroom, and first aid item you could possibly imagine was provided. It was so clean and quaint. It is much bigger and cuter than the photos show, imo. There are two private decks to enjoy and see the lake from! Caitlin has brochures describing local attractions but the list of personal favorites with descriptions was really nice. I don’t think you could find a better location from which to walk throughout the town to visit many shops and restaurants and Watkins Glen State Park. This was a super, well-appointed home in a great location, owned by wonderful people.

We came for two nights to explore the state park and Watkins Glen. The accommodations met our needs, and within waking distance to everything (lots of hills though). The apartment was clean and provided many little extras that were appreciated (coffee, condiments etc).

Very Convenient Downtown Location
