Kom eens kijken naar onze volledig vernieuwde Victoriaanse Roe Summer Cottage! Deze derde verdieping suite heeft 4 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers, een volledige keuken en een grote woonkamer. Er is een prive oprit met parkeerplaats voor 4 auto's plus beschikbaar op straat parkeren, allemaal op een rustige straat in het centrum van Watkins Glen. Suite C is de gehele derde verdieping van dit onlangs gerestaureerde voormalige pension. We zijn een blok van de ingang van Watkins Glen State Park en een korte wandeling naar Seneca Lake.

Overall our stay was good. The property was in the perfect location to walk to everything which was really nice! The actual amenities were alright. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, which was mentioned, however there's not wasy way up to the apartment other than the very narrow stairs. The apartment was spacious with 4 bedrooms which was great, but the blinds could use some work. Most were broken, including a large chunk missing out of the bathroom blinds which was awkward when you showered. There also was no bath, which lpokong back the listing did mention only showers but if you have little kiddos I wouldaybe pick somewhere else. The kitchen was clean, there were cups, plates, and mugs, but there were no baking sheets to use the oven. Overall our stay was good but it would have been nice if some things were upgraded.

The property location cannot be beat for those wanting to stay downtown. Walkable to restaurants, the waterfront, and Watkins Glen State Park. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The only reason I took one star off is that the apartment is very much in need of a deep clean. Very dusty air conditioning units, broken / dusty blinds, and an obvious sitting water smell from the shower curtains. There was also a toothpick sticking up between the sheet and comforter on one made bed upon arrival, which was just bizarre. The parking signage could also have been more helpful, the neighbor had to explain how to park as the email explained but the actual parking spots could be better marked, including maybe a dedicated line in the driveway dividing apartment spots. Second time I stayed and would probably stay again, based on price and location that can’t be beat, but hope that next time the apartment receives a way deeper clean.

Perfect for racing at Watkins Glen

This unit was just perfect for us - me, Mom, 2 kiddos and a buddy. We found it clean, comfortable, and quiet. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Watkins Glen.

Property was perfect, up to date, and within walking distance to State Park and dinner options. Bedrooms all with plenty of room, very nice kitchen, dinning area, and sitting space that was fully open to be able to spend as much time with your company. Would definitely recommend!!

Relaxing Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property. The suite was very clean, safe and conveniently located to all the attractions in Watkins Glen. There’s a coffee shop right across the street, and it’s just a very short walk into town, and to Watkins Glen Park. My only concern was the stairwell as it is a 3 flight walk up and if you are of a certain age, or have any physical limitations the last flight of stairs is very challenging, almost dangerous as the treads are half the size of a normal step. Book with caution if you have any knee or hip limitations.

Nice apartment, but hard to reach

The location of the house in town is excellent, and the apartment is as described, clean and comfortable. But it occupies the house's 3rd floor -- which, while disclosed on the VRBO site, was not readily apparent -- and the final flight of steps is very steep and not for children or people with mobility problems.

Perfectly located.

This rental is spacious and well equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent. The only negative, and I emphasize ONLY negative, is the last flight of stairs to the 3rd floor. They are narrow and steep.

Perfect location!

Perfect location close to all You need in downtown Watkins Glen area, the state park and Seneca Lake! Very clean property. The stairs are steep like other reviews noted, but doable.

Great time!

The location is the best! It is in walking distance from Watkins Glen State Park and from Downtown Watkins Glen. The place was newly renovated and it was the perfect set up for 3 couples. I think we were the first people to rent from Taryn, so my suggestion to the homeowner is you will most certainly need ceiling fans in the third floor unit for renter's comfort. It was very stuffy the first two days when we had 70 degree weather. Other than that, just some homey touches needed like curtains, blinds (especially for the smaller bathroom), storage closets in the bedrooms and hooks in the bathroom would be great. The work on the house was still in progress as the porch and walkway still needed TLC. Once that is complete the front porch would be a great place to have some evening cocktails on with friends. The three couples agreed we would rent this unit again!

Spacious Apartment

Had a wonderful stay in 3rd floor apartment. Brand new, well done interior. Lots of space with all the amenities! Owner was quick with response to minor item that needed attention. Highly recommend staying here - just be aware of small steep steps on last flight of stairs. Loved it and looking forward to our return to Watkins Glen!
