Every bedroom at The Vaughn House has been thoughtfully prepared to help you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Premium Purple® mattresses, quality bedding, and comfortable furnishings create inviting spaces where you can unwind after a day exploring Athens.
The spacious primary suite features a king-size Purple® mattress, a comfortable sitting area, dedicated workspace, and a private en suite bathroom with double vanities, a walk-in shower, and a separate water closet.
The guest bedroom offers a queen-size Purple® mattress and shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with the twin bedroom. The third bedroom features two twin Purple® mattresses that are equally comfortable for children or adults.

Need a little extra sleeping space? The recreation rooms both includes a full size sofa, allowing the home to comfortably accommodate up to eight guests.

The Vaughn House offers two full bathrooms and a convenient powder room, giving families and groups plenty of space to get ready. The primary bathroom features double vanities, a spacious walk-in shower, and a private water closet. The guest bedrooms share a full Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a tub and shower combination, while a half bath located just off the kitchen provides added convenience for everyone. Hair dryers provided in both full bathrooms.

Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign and agree to our rental conditions.

To help us provide a comfortable experience for all guests and maintain the quality of our home, the following fees may be assessed for violations of our House Rules. Bringing an unauthorized pet onto the property will result in a $1,000 fee, plus any additional cleaning or damage costs. Smoking or vaping anywhere inside the home, garage, or barn is strictly prohibited and will result in a $1,000 fee, plus any costs associated with odor removal, cleaning, or damage.

Unauthorized parties, events, or gatherings are not permitted and will result in a $1,000 fee, immediate termination of the reservation, and removal from the property without refund. Excessive noise, disturbing neighbors, or violating quiet hours may result in fines of up to $1,000 and possible termination of the reservation. Guests who exceed the maximum occupancy or allow unauthorized overnight guests may be charged $100 per unauthorized guest, per night, up to $1,000.

The home is professionally cleaned before every stay. If excessive cleaning is required beyond our standard turnover, an additional cleaning fee beginning at $250 may be charged. Guests are asked to place all bagged trash in the designated outdoor receptacles before departure. Failure to do so may result in a $250 cleaning fee.

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM unless otherwise approved in writing. Unauthorized early check-in or late check-out will incur a fee of $50 for every 30 minutes beyond the approved times. Lost keys or garage door openers will be charged at the replacement cost plus a $100 administrative fee.

Guests are responsible for any damage to the home, furnishings, appliances, décor, or amenities beyond normal wear and tear. Repair or replacement costs will be assessed as necessary. The use of glitter, confetti, fireworks, smoke bombs, or similar materials is prohibited and will result in a minimum $500 fee, in addition to any required cleaning or repair costs.

This home is located on a peaceful rural property adjacent to neighboring horses. Guests may not enter neighboring pastures, feed, pet, call to, chase, or otherwise disturb the horses. Guests are also prohibited from touching or crossing electric fencing. Any violation that results in damage to neighboring property, livestock, or fencing may result in immediate termination of the reservation, and guests will be responsible for all resulting repair, veterinary, or other associated costs.

We understand that accidents happen. If something is broken or damaged during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible. Honest communication allows us to prepare the home for future guests and is always appreciated.
