Ocean View Beach House in de zandduinen op Monterey Bay

Dit strandhuis met uitzicht op de oceaan ligt in de zandduinen aan de baai van Monterey, met aan de ene kant een volledig uitzicht op de Stille Oceaan en aan de andere kant de Pajaro-vallei. Er zijn dekken aan beide zijden van het huis. Een kort pad (geen weg over te steken) leidt naar de kilometerslange zandstrand. Het huis ligt in de Pajaro Dunes gated community met 24-uurs beveiliging en gemeenschappelijke ruimte wandel / fietspaden, tennisbanen, volleybal en basketbalveld. Het huis is volledig ingericht met een complete keuken, beddengoed en handdoeken en de nieuwste bordspellen om van te genieten voor de houtkachel. De kinderen kunnen spelen zonder zorgen van auto's in Pajaro Dunes Community (er zijn geen wegen tussen het huis en het strand)

De huislocatie ligt in het centrum van Monterey Bay tussen Carmel / Monterey en Santa Cruz. San Francisco ligt 100 mijl naar het noorden; San Jose / Silicon Valley ligt op minder dan een uur rijden. De dichtstbijzijnde golfbaan ligt op 5 minuten afstand en de beroemde golfbanen in Monterey liggen op minder dan 30 minuten afstand. Monterey aquarium en de Santa Cruz Boardwalk zijn binnen 1/2 uur rijden. Wereldberoemde vogels kijken en kajakken op Elkhorn Slough ligt op 10 minuten afstand in Moss Landing.

Spring break at the Beach House

It was our third visit to this property. It was perfection! The house is large enough to fit our group of six in comfort. The beds are soft. Every bedroom has a well equipped bathroom. The kitchen has all the tools you need to cook all of your meals. The kids rode bikes in the front. The teens played volleyball in the court. The beach was just steps away from the house. We had a GREAT time!

Eye Opening stay for family members

The house was perfect for our first holiday all in the same house instead of separate hotel rooms, etc. The fact that there was a bathroom for each bedroom was a big plus. The house siting and location, although not directly on the beach with no houses in front of it, it as high enough to give a glimpse of the ocean. The sand dune surrounds and separation from the other houses was a big design plus for the house also. The long deck on the ocean view side provided great outdoor space to eat, hangout and photos also.Just about everything required, was provided. Very pleased and would recommend house to anyone.

Family Weekend at the Beach

Perfect set up and location. Our group of 5 adults appreciated the open living area with great ocean view and easy access to the beach. The house has plenty of seating, beds are comfortable, and the deck is nice space to relax.

Beach Trip With Friends

Overall an awesome experience and a beautiful little house on the dunes! The railings on the stairs were wide enough for our kids to fit through so just a little heads up for parents with small children. Also, the bbq is charcoal so if you plan to grill, be sure to plan accordingly.

Perfect for a respite with girlfriends

The house was perfect for our stay. Beautiful views from both sides of the house. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on both decks while viewing the ocean on the west side and the slough and hills to the east. The slough was teeming with activity! Even saw a seal checking out the breakfast options during high tide. Egrets and herons usually always present. 3 very comfortable bedrooms and 3 nice bathrooms. Perfect. The kitchen was great. Very easy to find what we needed as well as nice pots and pans. I wanted to mention to anyone who is considering this house, there are lots of stairs from either parking lot to the door. This means you have to carry all your belongs and groceries etc up and down the stairs. I knew this ahead because I read the description of the property and looked at all the photos. We kept our carrying bags smaller and used smaller coolers. And got some great exercise! A very short walk to the beach from the house. We saw dolphins, otters, seals, and so many different types of shore birds. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely beach getaway!

We have stayed at Pajaro a few times in the smaller 1-2BR condos, but this time we were two families with 3 kids total. This was perfect for a slightly larger group and the easy access large porch(es), and views were amazing.

Our stay at Pajaro Dunes Resort was truly memorable. The beachfront location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Our rental home was spacious and well-appointed, comfortably accommodating our entire family. The floor plan, kitchen and decks made for a pleasant gathering space.

Lots of stairs

It’s a beautiful place but lots of stairs my kids and elderly parents had trouble with climbing up and down the steps in the front of the house only way to access the house and also the steep stairs in the house home was pretty dirty and garbage is were completely full and falling out onto the ground, which the owner did take care of after I pointed it out but not sure it was cleaned before our arrival due to cobwebs and stains on the pillows that we had a good time I just wouldn’t recommend it for a little children or elderly unless you don’t mind the stairs

Peaceful with Beautiful Views

This place was great for my husband and me, our adult children and their significant others. The property was clean and in a nice area, and the kitchen had pretty much anything you would need to cook besides food. The short walk to the non crowded beach was great! We loved that it was away from the traffic of Monterey, however, because of the traffic, it did take us longer to get to destinations near and past Monterey.

June stay for a week

Overall very pleasant and comfortable stay with family members including 3 seniors. The layout of the house is good but you have to be able to navigate stairs. Excellent access to the beach and you can still enjoy the ocean air and views from the spacious deck or from the living room. The house is well-equipped. We liked that there were 3 bathrooms. A thumbs-up all around!

Awesome little beach house with room for everyone.

We took a family vacation to the beach and Monterey Bay Aquarium. The kids loved being so close to the beach and being able to see the ocean from the back patio. The outdoor shower was amazing after walking back and it’s warm water!

Wonderful House at the Beach
