Dit huis biedt voldoende ruimte voor iedereen in uw gezelschap om zich te verspreiden en zich te vestigen voor een typisch toevluchtsoord aan het meer. Rustieke houten gevelbeplating en decor creëren een echt cabinegevoel, terwijl het natuurlijke licht door de ramen stroomt en houtachtige uitzichten uittekent.

Bereid heerlijke, zelfgemaakte maaltijden in de volledig uitgeruste keuken, compleet met alle servies en kookgerei die u nodig heeft. Gezinsdiners kunnen worden genoten aan de eettafel voor 8 personen of op het dek!

Sip koffie terwijl u geniet van een prachtige zonsopkomst van boven en onder dekken, compleet met een houtskool grill, picknicktafel en buitenshuis. Misschien zie je soms herten of vossen en hoor je vogels chirpen! Je kunt de dag op het meer doorbrengen met de verstrekte kano- en roeiboot. Kom 's avonds samen rond de vuurplaats voor spookverhalen, marshmallowbroden en sterren kijken.

Boven- en benedenverdieping woonkamers kunnen worden geoptimaliseerd als rustige rustplaats of vermaakruimte. De woonkamer op een lager niveau beschikt over een prachtige stenen open haard naast de 65-inch flatscreen-Smart-tv, een pooltafel en een dartbord.

Na een dag op het meer zink je in een stoombadbad of gewoon opfrissen in een van de 2 badkamers - ofwel het half bad - voordat je in bed gaat klimmen. De grote slaapkamer beschikt over een gezellige open haard naast het queensize bed, terwijl de 4 slaapkamers en de kelder 1 koning, 1 queensize bed, 2 aparte bedden en 2 futonbedden bevatten.

Long Lake beschikt over schoon, helder water, ideaal om te vissen, varen, slangen en zwemmen! Als het je lukt om jezelf te verscheuren van al het plezier van het huis en het meer, vind je restaurants, ski-pistes en winkels in de buurt!

Slechts 11 mijl van het huis is Chain O 'Lake, een geweldige plek om te forel, vissen en zwemmen. In de zomer kunt u in de zomer slenteren op de Crystal River. In de winter is er bergafdalingen op de Nordic Mountain, op slechts 12 mijl afstand. Als golf meer jouw snelheid is, ligt de Foxfire Golf Club op 14 mijl ten noorden.

Voor een middag zullen de kinderen dol zijn op de Animal Haven Farm Zoo of Tom Thumb Mini Golf, beide op slechts 20 minuten afstand.

We LOVED it here! We had a group of 11 and everyone fit comfortably in all the different spacious rooms. My dad and grandpa caught tons of fish off the dock, us kids rented the pontoon boat and did many laps around the lake. The water is very clear, nice and shallow by the piers so you can walk around. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for each meal. Would 100% go back

extended family coming together from across the state - plenty of room for 12 adults, clear refreshing water, fully stocked kitchen, lots of games, great outdoor seating and fire pit. A bit of an incline to the lake and driveway, but 78 year olds were able to get up and down, definitely enjoyed our stay. Owner was very accommodating and hospitable, look forward to visiting again!

We all had a wonderful time! The weather couldn't have been better. We swam, kayaked, canoed, fished, played games, had campfires.... Our family all rated this home the best of the five we've stayed at for our 5th annual getaway. The home is well stocked with all kitchen items you could need. There is plenty of bedding and towels for all. Games galore are there for all ages, and the pool table was a fun way to relax inside. We hope to return next year!

The house was beautiful with plenty to do. The fishing was good with big panfish. We would stay there again. The walk from the house to the lake was steep and a little challenging for seniors. We were told about this before hand. All said it was a great place.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Could not have picked a better stop to just kick back and relax in. The hosts were incredible and so helpful. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The lake is absolutely stunning and peaceful. We hope to be back next year! Not often you come across a vacation home that is actually comfortable and you can tell is loved by its owners.(We also had fish dinner at the Dig that is near by. Highly recommend checking them out for a casual after lake dinner!)

Very nice property with a small 200 acre lake . Nice swimming area and everything needed was there. It's a steep walk down to lake and if you have mobility issues this would be a challenge as the hillside location has 2 floors of stairs as well. Be aware the Master bedroom is open overlooking the living room with a shutter type privacy but you can hear everything from the floor before All in all it was a good rental for my family who are mostly in the under 40 age The pool table and the electronic darts were a fun evening distraction as were the supply of games in the bedroom. If you have toddlers the upper deck is someplace they will require constant vigilance as the space between the rails is quite wide

Doug thank you for a great two week stay, the house was magical. I agree with the other reviewers that the house is fully stocked with all that you need, which is great. What I didn't expect because the photos don't do it justice: the house is in the tree canopy(love); the upstairs bedroom gets the most amazing dappling light in the morning; there are also two new docks. My family, ranging in age from 12 to 74 years old, traveled from all over to get here. My parents, who haven't been on the water in 30 years, jumped into a canoe. The teenagers loved the 80's decor elements and the soundsystem. My niece learned how to play pool and I realized my dart skills are lacking but I excell with the fire pit and grill. We made so many big meals, one night we had fettuccine and chanterelle mushrooms my nephie and husband foraged in the area. The nearest big grocery store isn't far away but we loved going to Turners Fresh Market to purchase local produce. We picked apples from a tree we passed on a hiking trail and made a pie that night. There was space for everyone to be comfortable together or seperate doing their own thing. My daughter and I had to work sporadically throughout our stay. The wifi wasn't the best but we made do. For example I could take Zoom calls from the upstairs balcony with my phone. Since our stay was two weeks we got to see the cycle of the lake and surrounding properties. Friday and Saturday have a lot more activity. We only had one day where the neighbors were disruptive. During the week you basically have the lake to yourself. We hope to be back!

Large House w/ all of the Amenities

Rented this house for a week with our entire extended family (my parents, my siblings, their spouses, and all of our kids ages 1-10), and it was a great house for us overall. First, know that this house is fully stocked with all that you need. Towels, linens, kitchen supplies (spices, condiments, flour, cookware, griddles, pots, pans, mixers, etc. etc). With a large group traveling from afar this really helps as we like to cook and make large meals and many items were in the house already to help us here. Second, the pics of the outdoor space doesn't do the rental justice. The house is on a point, meaning you have a lot of lake access. There are two piers (both great for fishing, swimming or docking a boat). There's also a patio area down by the water with a metal patio table and chairs. We often sat down in this area for lunch while our kids played in the water and others fished. Swimming was great (not weedy, no lily pads all over), however, if you have little ones, there may or may not be a wading area for them depending on how high the water levels are on the lake that summer. For example, water levels were high when we were here, thus there was no sand to ease you into the water. If the lake levels are lower, then there is sand. Just something to be mindful of. Beds were all comfortable and accomodating. Note that the upstairs master bedroom is a loft to the area down below. This wasn't a problem for us as the eldest members of our group took this bedroom, and the rest of us congregated either outside or two floors below (as that is where the pool table, dart board and TV are). Outside deck has one the largest gas grills I've ever used, plus there's a charcoal grill if that is your style. Cooking outdoors on that gas grill was a dream. Also to note, this is on Long Lake, but NOT the Long Lake that is on the Chain O Lakes. Some people get confused on this. Chain O Lakes is about 20 minutes north, and this is where we went for family fun (like eating out, playing mini-golf, etc). Our host Doug was quite communicative and really works hard to make sure renters are taken care of. Check-in is also digital, so super easy to check in and check out. Thanks for a great week!

Post Pandemic Family Time

We had a great time on our 4 day weekend. The house was spacious for everyone and our hosts made check in and out super easy. We rented the pontoon boat for 2 days and really enjoyed being out on the water. The owners were easily accessible when we had questions and the house is fully stocked with just about anything you can think of. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and we lucked out with great weather too! Would recommend this rental for a large family or group of friends as great getaway.

We enjoyed our week and the lake is beautiful. House is well cared for. Lots of bedrooms, but limited space for your luggage/clothing. The pontoon boat (extra charge), canoe and kayak were terrific. Big decks surrounded by trees, and a private point with two docks. Don’t miss the high dive on shared platform nearby. Internet service is scanty. Please note: This Long Lake is not the Long Lake on the chain of lakes, and is 10-15 miles from Waupaca. We booked by mistake and got locked in by a nonrefundable deposit. Nevertheless enjoyed our stay.

Great spot for family vacation!

First, I just want to say that the property owners were excellent to work with. Very responsive and easy going - which was very appreciated for “first timers.” This was the first time our family has done a long weekend away. There were 8 adults and 7 young kids (all under 8) and it was great! We brought baby gates for the young ones and some plastic fencing for the deck (the spindles are very wide) and it made it all “baby safe.” The house was very clean and plenty of bedrooms. We rented the pontoon, and while it is an older boat it worked perfect. We also rented two jet skis from the local rental company (they were delivered) and it was a blast for the adults!!! We did this on a weekday which was good b/c the lake definitely gets busy on the weekends. Like what another renter posted, we took the pontoon about a 100 yards from the dock and anchored there for a few hours. It was perfect for the kids to jump in and out of the lake while still tucked away from the business of the lake in general. Kitchen and bathrooms were adequately stocked. Great fire pit. It is a steep hill but we managed just fine.

Such a great place on an absolutely gorgeous lake! The owners were beyond friendly and helpful making sure we had everything we need :) Would definitely stay again!

still loved it. floating in the little alcove was terrific with all the boat traffic we saw. great place for our 10 person group!

Comfortable for large family. Incline from lake to home but no steps. Wonderful place
