Clearwater Retreat is nestled along the sandy frontage of crystal clear Lake Irogami, amidst white pines, scotch pines and oak trees.
Enjoy your morning coffee rocking on the front porch as the sun comes up to welcome a new day. Take in breathtaking sunsets from the large deck overlooking the lake, or on your private pier. Gather around the bonfire, making s'mores on starlit nights, after grilling out on the cement patio. There's plenty of level grassy area for your favorite lawn games, and for kids to play, we even have a tug boat sand box. They will also enjoy the shallow, gradual, sandy bottom for swimming and playing. Everyone enjoys relaxing in the hot tub.
Explore the 280 acre lake at your leisure, in the canoe, pedal boat or even fish for your evening meal.
Not to be outdone, the beautifully decorated interior of the retreat comes with all the amenities you seek, including a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, fireplace, flat screen TVs, and Wii. Our large dining room table is perfect for the Holiday family gatherings. Enjoy our kayaks, paddleboat, canoe row boat; rent the pontoon boat for a cruise on the lake.

Surroundings: Clearwater Retreat is located along a dead end street and not near any highways. No neighbors across the street....just the sounds of nature.

Our lakehome is located on the eastern side of Lake Irogami, which is the sandiest part of the lake's shoreline. Don't let those other rentals fool you! We are the real deal with hard, clean sand and quiet surroundings with easy access to the lake. You will get tired of those other places where you have to climb 30+ stairs just to get to and from the water.

Lake Irogami: Lake Irogami is a 280 acre swimming, fishing and boating lake. You can waterski, jetski, canoe, fish, swim, and tube. Pretty much everything goes. The lake doesn't get really deep (5 - 8 feet on average), yet it is deep enough for all the things you want to do and the fishing is great. Blue gill, largemouth bass and northern pike are some of the fish you might catch. There are 2 boat launches on opposite sides of the lake. You can bring your own boat and tie to our pier or we can give you the contact info. for the person who rents his pontoon boats to our guests.

Traditions: Our family started a tradition over 40 years ago by renting a lake house in Wautoma and every year we looked forward to that one week where we could get away and enjoy lake life. Now our kids look forward to coming up to the lake and enjoying everything there is to offer. Start your tradition....we will make it a great stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at this top notch home on the lake. Great location for a weekend trip to Nordic Mountain. Fully stocked kitchen for meal prep and plenty of space for all to sleep comfortably. Owners’ communication was quick and responsive. We highly recommend!

We had a great time. The house is perfect for a family and an elderly couple. Really clean and comfortable. The view of the lake and sunsets are perfect. It's close to great restaurants too! We stayed in the Fall. Summer is probably great there's a really nice dock and the water is crystal clear with a beautiful sandy bottom. The owners are not intrusive at all yet just a text or phone call away. Highly recommend this rental.

We all enjoyed our stay! No steps to the water was perfect for our larger group. Communication with hosts was GREAT and they were very accommodating to our family. The lake was nice and clear, great for swimming and for the dogs to wade around. Very nice property!

The cottage is the perfect size for our grown kids and their families to join us for a weekend together. It has everything we need. The weather was perfect for swimming. The lake was beautiful and safe for the little ones … and big ones to have lots of fun. Looking forward to returning in the future.

We need to be a little picky about where we stay for our annual family vacation. My mom can't do steps anymore. So the upstairs bedroom & almost straight shot to the lake were perfect. Us kids & spouses stayed in the lower level. The house is huge & very clean. The lake & sunset are beautiful. We even caught some fish when we were out on the rented pontoon. We enjoyed everything about it & have it booked for next year already.

8 adults, the house had plenty of space. Tons of amenities, everything in kitchen you need to cook. Beautiful lake view, sunset view. Short drive to town if you need supplies. Lots of water toys. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone of any age as the owners supplied items for young children as well.

Everything was great for our group of 9. Had room to move about, seating for everyone, great yard, quite neighborhood, plenty of dry firewood, lake not busy with high speed boats, made great use of provided kayaks, row boat, paddle boat, and everything you'd need to take a boat out. Kid toys, inflatable rafts, tubes, camp chairs, grill. It seemed this place had it all! Inside too, dishes for every need and silverware for 20+. Only thing you really need to bring is your swimsuit and toothbrush. Close to town that had enough to wander around in for a day. We liked Pick' Save best. We never had an issue, but the few messages to owners were quickly replied to. If it was closer to were we live, we would rent it every year.

We stayed to celebrate our mom & dad 50th anniversary. It was a perfect spot for us with the perfect space for our entire family. Clean, well maintained, well stocked! We really enjoyed our time here! I would love to come back during warmer weather too experience the lake! Thank you!

We loved the location, lake, sleeping accommodations, water activities and convenience. Only regret was that we couldn’t check in a bit earlier as we had family flying in at different times and had to coordinate. We hope to book again.

This place was amazing. We have already recommended it to several friends. The water is shallow enough to stand in, but deep enough to swim in. Coffee on the dock in the morning, the most well-appointed kitchen I've ever seen, and tons of space for activities made this the best vacation spot ever. We'd love to come back. Don't skip the Milty Wilty! We love Milty!

Very nice home, lake was clear and late season (no motorboats when we were out) we were able to canoe peacefully - had the lake to ourselves. Home was clean and very much as advertised, lots of bed space! Owners/managers were very responsive and quick to respond with all communication. It was a great getaway for us, I would recommend it.

The house was just as advertised with the exception of a surprise new sectional in the living room. The house is great for any size group with each of the 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 people. The layout is a bit different with 3 of the bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the lower level, but it doesn't feel like a basement with each bedroom having a nice sized window. The house is very well-equipped. They even delivered a generous supply of firewood on our first day there. We will certainly consider future stays at this location.

We had a total of 3 families that stayed a long weekend and we had plenty of room and a wonderful time. The kitchen was fully stocked with all needed items to cook the food we brought with us. The lake has a sandy bottom and is shallow which was great for the kids to play in.

My son, youngest in our family wanted a trip for graduating high school instead of a party and now I’m wishing we would’ve done this for all the kids. Everyone had the best time!! There was enough fun things to do that no one complained about being board or wanting to go anywhere to have fun. Grandkids played in the lake or sun bathed while older kids kayaked or hung out by the outdoor fire pit. Boys got a lot of fishing in while my husband and I just enjoyed the quiet. Other then the placement of the bedrooms ( which we knew would be a challenge) everything lived up to expectations and needless to say no one wanted it to be over! Thank you for an awesome experience, will definitely go this route again!!

Our group of eight spent three nights at Clearwater Retreat and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed to prepare any meal, and there was plenty of room to spread out for some quiet time. We particularly liked the flat lot as it made getting down to the lake easier for the older folks in our party. The rental includes a number of water toys (paddle boat, kayaks, etc.) to enjoy on the lake and there is a wonderful fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs for enjoying an evening bonfire. The rental is a short five minute drive to Wautoma in the event you need something yet it feels like you're out in the country. Misty and Bonnie were great to work with and made sure everything was ready for our group. We'll definitely go back again.
