Comfortabele, elegante, leuke hut met een eigen hot tub, vuurplaats, een pooltafel

Historische Steiner-hut in de Mountain Air-gemeenschap, gebouwd in 1925, maar beschikt over alles wat een huis in 2018 zou moeten hebben. Gelegen op slechts een korte wandeling naar de Sandy River, is er een lange rivierweg die veel plaatsen voor u biedt om te vissen of om te mediteren en uw hond om te chillen en te genieten van de geuren en landschappen. Het bezit is een volkomen vlakke halve acre met veel 80-100 éénjarigenbomen en 2 open gazonruimten waarop badminton, volleyball, whiffle bal, haal, enz. Te spelen. De keuken is volledig gevulde en er is een Weber gas grill op het voordek, evenals buiten eethoek. Het beddengoed is gezellig en luxueus op alle bedden - een goede nachtrust is belangrijk als je op avontuur bent. Een van de slaapkamers bevindt zich in het bijgebouw in de recreatieruimte, dat ook beschikt over een complete bar, een pooltafel, een HDTV, een stereo-installatie en een eigen binnenplaats met een vuurplaats en een hot tub - deze plek is gebouwd om te feesten, om eerlijk te zijn. Er is wifi overal in het pand en het internet is razendsnel (Google's woorden, niet de mijne). Houtpelletkachels in beide gebouwen zorgen voor de gezelligheid van een houtkachel zonder dat u zelf een brandje hoeft te maken. De locatie is uitstekend; in de zomer is het een mooie wandeling langs Wemme Trail of Mountain Air naar het restaurantdistrict in Welches; in de winter zijn we 13 mijl van Ski Bowl, 20 mijl naar Timberline, en 25 mijl naar Mt Hood Meadows. Het huis ligt dicht bij de snelweg, maar de bomen zijn zo dicht dat het volkomen stil is in het huis en buiten is het gedempt en klinkt het gewoon winderig tijdens de drukste tijden. De weekenden zijn een beetje luider omdat er zoveel meer verkeer is, maar er is zoveel te doen in de directe omgeving van het huis dat het nooit een uitdaging is om rust te vinden.

Nice hot tub, cozy feel, great location. The check in manual needs to be updated as the pellet stove in the main house is not controlled by a thermostat; a few other items in the manual need to be updated as well. It took a bit of troubleshooting to get things rolling but once we figured it out we had a wonderful time. Be aware that the pellet stoves are required for heating both the main house and the game room.

The owner was at the property fixing the hot tub when the first of our party arrived. We weren’t told what was wrong with it, but it was incredibly dirty so nobody wanted to get in it which was disappointing. The pellet stove in the game room wouldn’t turn on after the first day, so that area was fairly cold to stay in. There were plenty of pellets in the reservoir and the thermostat was on, so I don’t know why it stopped.Otherwise, the house and game room were nice. The kitchen was stocked well. There was plenty of bedding to add to try and keep warm in the rec bedroom where the heater wasn’t working. I didn’t realize there was a sauna on the property, so that was nice to use instead of the hot tub.The internet went out one evening and the owner was quick to respond when we contacted him to figure out where to reset the router as well as answer questions about the pellet stove in the main house.

extremely easy check in and check out. fully stocked (outside of your own food of course) kitchen, well maintained hot tub, new classic hot rock sauna in the game room that is adjacent to the hot tub. game room has a large TV you can watch your movies, board game table. it's such a complete package on its own. it's rustic enough as a fantastic getaway but has all the modern features you would want making it really comfortable, private, and relaxing. Renter is available whenever if you have questions which we had a couple and they answered them right away and solved our issues (things like gas for the grill). absolutely a fantastic experience, planning to rent again in the fall or winter. cannot recommend enough.

Beautiful property close to restaurants and stores. Houses were very well cared for. Owner provided an extremely helpful binder on everything from trails and restaurants to things to keep your dog away from. A lot of love has been put into the building of and care for this property.

We had an amazing time!

We loved our stay here. The cabin had so much charm. It is 100yrs old so you don't often see places like this with such character. The owners you can see are actively updating but also keeping it feeling like home. The area was perfect for hiking, dining, seeing the mountain, and exploring. The only downside was we wished we had more time here! We loved our stay and hope to come back again.

Family Snow Trip

We came up to spend the weekend as a little family and go play in the snow! This location was close to tubing but still kind of secluded which was perfect for us! It was nice and quiet and had plenty of games for the kids! We had a blast and would definitely stay here again!

A fun and convenient rental that we will continue to use at least twice a year

Extremely convenient to the Regional Park and the stores and the coffee shop all within a few minutes drive. Also close to a great sit-down pizza place and only 30 minutes to the top of the mountain. Highly recommend!

Why leave

Talk about a little slice of heaven. My husband and I haven’t gone out of town in years and we wanted a quaint place in the woods that we wouldn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to. We brought food and only left to go on a hike. I love the rec room and pool table! Everything you needed was there and the owner was quick to respond with any questions we had. I think this will be a place we return to.

Rad spot

Such a rad spot! Short walk to the river for a nice polar plung! Kitchen was very well stocked with pans/utensils/coffee press so we were easily able to cook our meals. The rec house really did have it all. We went to the mountain to just chill and we had a blast playing pool, games, and hanging out here. You don't have to leave unless you want to. Thanks for having us!!

Disappointing

The cabin is advertised as 4 bedrooms but is only 3 bedrooms. Also listed as air conditioned, it is not. There was a single ac unit in the upstairs bedroom. The cupboards and closets had random items and decorations stuffed in them. This gave a sense of uncleanliness. The towels had stains and there were also items left in the dryer. The cabins log stairway has several steps at the top of the stairs that are split making them unsteady and a danger to the guests. There were several signs of neglect and deferred maintenance throughout. We did contact host regarding the bathroom drains and did receive a timely response. The rec house is a wonderful space, but found out the ac was not working. After contacting host, told it was out of Freon and the unit needed to be replaced. A problem as it was 90°+ during our stay. Host did offer to fix it, but that would have interrupted our family time. The roof clearly had a leak with open holes in the ceiling and a horrid musty smell. Cameras inside, creepy! The main deck several patio chairs that collapsed when you sat in them and the hammock pad was soiled and split. We planned meals for the bbq but had to adjust the flow regulator and light manually. After partially cooking a meal the tank ran out of gas! Also, there was an old wire BBQ brush that is a health hazard if a wire ingested. The hot tub area lighting was inadequate and unsafe. Area had sharp metal left items laying around that could injure pets. Host needs to do better.
