Klassieke 1925 zalmriviercabine

Ligt direct aan de oevers van de ongerepte zalmrivier, onze onlangs gerestaureerde Mt. Hood cabine zit op een prive-half hectare te midden van oude groei bos. Vanaf het moment dat je uit je auto stapt, ervaar je hoe het voelt om er even helemaal tussenuit te zijn. Je zintuigen zullen blij zijn met de geluiden van stromend water en de bezienswaardigheden en geuren van het bos.
Onze idyllische hut beschikt over een volledig overdekte veranda met een op maat gemaakte eettafel en Adirondack-stoelen. Daarnaast is er de overdekte patio met een bubbelbad en een gasbarbecue. Binnen vindt u een prachtige open haard op rivierrots, knoestige grenen houten wanden, een volledig bijgewerkte keuken, evenals nieuwer tapijt, matrassen en beddengoed.
Dit is je toegangspoort tot alle avonturen die je hartje begeert: ski de hellingen, mountainbike het Sandy Ridge Trail-systeem of wandel een aantal prachtige paden door oude begroeiingbossen. Als ontspanning meer in je straatje past, laat onze hut je ook zien. Neem een koele duik in de rivier, geniet van het bubbelbad, ontspan met een goed boek bij de houtkachel, speel een bordspel of draai wat vinyl op de vintage-stereo. We bieden ook slimme T.V. en razendsnel WiFi voor het streamen van uw favoriete programma's.

Amazing stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! We traveled to the area with our three older boys (18-23) and loved every minute of it. The record player was used daily and we spent a great deal of time outside, playing cards and enjoying the river. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin. The rhododendrons were in bloom making the landscaped property really shine. We really enjoyed sitting out on the large deck that had both a large dining table and a separate seating area with Adirondack chairs. The inside of the cabin was beautiful and very relaxing. The king bedroom on the ground floor was quite large with an attached bathroom containing laundry machines and a walkin-in shower. The queen bedroom on the ground floor was fairly small, but did its job :). The main bathroom on the ground floor also has a walkin shower, making it very easy for my 75 year old mother in law to get in and out. The kitchen is fully stocked and roomy. Barbecuing was great right outside the kitchen. The third Queen bedroom on the second floor required going up steep stairs with no risers, so save that for the young and able. There is a 3rd full bath on the second floor as well. The firepit overlooking the river was very enjoyable. The path down to the river was too steep for my MIL, but enjoyable for the rest of us.

Cozy Cabin

Our family had a great stay here. The accommodations were exactly as described and we just loved it here. We especially loved the vinyl collection, hot tub, location on the river and overall charm. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful location.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. Purpose was for a family reunion. The Mt. Hood area has so much to see and do! Great location. Cabin sits on the bank of the Salmon River. Close to lors of hikes. Maybe 20-30 min. to Mt. Hood.We had 1 hiccup with the cabin. Owners did not notify us that there was ongoing construction. They are adding a garage w/loft. I would not have booked if I had known ahead of time. Owner compensated 100 and stopped construction for our stay. Kitchen was extremely well stocked and they have a great LP collection.We brought our own, but they had plenty of firewood available. There is a little grocery store about 10 minutes away. Very private and serene. Would stay here again.

Perfect location. Very secluded, but less than a mile from restaurants and grocery store. We spent the majority of the time at the fire pit overlooking the river. The cabin was very large and could accommodate multiple families.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. It is simultaneously cozy and plenty spacious for a group. We played games and listened to the awesome record collection. One highlight was a completely functional and stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook shared meals all weekend. The location is wonderful, tucked in the woods right by the river, but only a two minute drive to the grocery store. Vince was attentive and great at communicating info during our stay. This was one of the better rentals I have experienced. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cozy Cabin

The perfect getaway cabin

Look no further if you want a perfect cabin getaway. This cabin had everything we needed and more. We especially appreciated the access to firewood, two fire pits, a hot tub, and the riverfront property. We celebrated my birthday here, which was perfect because the cabin had a huge assortment of vinyl records and games to play. We had everything we needed for relaxation and for entertainment.

Beautiful home in the woods

Loved the house. The record player was amaxing and there were lots of different records to listen to. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed to cook on our stay. The beds were super comfortable and the property was right on the river. You could walk down a path and get to the river bank. Very beautiful. We will be bavk this winter.

Serene Getaway

This was the ideal getaway for our active family of four. The location is simply perfect for completely unwinding and connecting with nature. We could stay at the cabin to sit riverside, play games, read, or just be. The location is convenient for hiking beautiful trails, kayaking, or visiting Hood River. The cabin was well equipped, comfortable, and spacious. Three full bathrooms was a plus! We will definitely come back!

Fabulous retreat

This is a great property. We really enjoyed how private it was. We have rented other properties in Welches and felt like the neighbors were “ on top of us”. This property was beautiful and pretty private. The house, it’s to nice to be a cabin, is lovely. It was fantastic to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. The upstairs has a huge bedroom, another bath and a comfy couch with a TV. We would definitely return. The owner always responded quickly to my questions, I really appreciated that.

This was my second stay in Welches. I really love the home. The hot tub was great and clean, only wish it had a cover opener for the older set.
