Locatie aan het strand in Lecount Hollow met A / C

Locatie aan het strand (minuten lopen naar Lecount Hollow Beach) en comfort zijn alles voor een geweldige vakantie. Verblijf in deze coole (centrale A / C) en comfortabele, bijgewerkte woning * binnen * de National Seashore in Wellfleet. Gelegen aan een privéweg langs Ocean View Drive die langs de Atlantische Oceaan loopt. Onze weg leidt naar een privépad (voor bewoners en gasten) rechtstreeks naar LeCount Hollow Beach (minuten). Geniet van het gemak van wonen aan het strand met parkeerplaats voor maximaal 3 auto's. Niet wachten in de auto om een openbare parkeerplaats te openen of om 8 uur naar het strand te gaan om te parkeren. Loop naar huis voor lunch of een snack en ga op je gemak terug. Bovendien, de beroemde Beachcomber is ongeveer een mijl verderop Ocean View Drive (beloopbaar, rijden, fietsen of neem de gratis shuttle). Populaire PB boulangerie (Franse bakkerij en bistro) ligt ook op ongeveer 1,5 km afstand.

Zoals onze eerdere beoordelingen suggereren, ligt ons strandhuis op een prachtige strandlocatie. Lecount Hollow (ook wel McGuire's Landing genoemd) en de andere oceaanstranden van National Seashore (Lecounts, White Crest, Cahoon Hollow en Newcomb Hollow) zijn de mooiste stranden van Cape Cod en liggen allemaal langs Oceanview Drive. Andere locatie-attracties zijn onder andere een fietspad van 27 mijl, diverse vijvers met zoetwaterketels en stranden langs de baai. We zijn ook ongeveer 5-10 minuten rijden naar het stadscentrum en de haven. Dit geweldige gebied heeft altijd gezinnen en vrienden aangetrokken die ontsnapten aan de ontberingen van het echte leven. Ga verfrist naar huis.

Het huis zelf is een van de slechts ~ 300 in het National Seashore Park. We hebben 2 koninginnen en 2 aparte bedden. Er zijn 2 slaapkamers op de eerste verdieping (koninginnen) en de tweeling bevindt zich op het lagere afgewerkte kelderniveau met een eigen complete badkamer (zie foto). We hebben ook een uitrol voor een overnachting gast. Er zijn 2 volledige badkamers en een afgesloten buitendouche.

Er is een ruime woonkamer en eet in de keuken. Merk op dat we in 2015 een upgrade hebben uitgevoerd met nieuwe kasten, verlichting, slaapkamermeubels en andere updates om het nog comfortabeler en aantrekkelijker te maken.

De schaduwrijke, natuurlijke patio / tuin is een uniek kenmerk van het huis. Het biedt een rustige plek om te ontspannen en een cocktail te drinken of buiten te eten met familie en vrienden. In de middag is het een schaduwrijke oase na een warme dag op het strand.

'S Nachts loopt of rijdt u naar het Beachcomber Restaurant / Night Club met nachtelijke livebands en solisten uit alle muzikale genres (~ 1,6 km verderop Ocean View Drive) of drink een cocktail in hun' apres beach 'aan het strand. PB Boulangerie en Bistro, een extreem populaire Franse bakkerij en restaurant, is een mijl verderop (15-20 minuten lopen).

U hoeft het gebied nooit te verlaten, maar voor de avonturiers zijn er vele andere geweldige restaurants, kunstgalerijen, golf, minigolf, drive-in theater, live theater en andere attracties in Wellfleet en de omliggende steden (P-Town, Truro of Orleans). Provincetown biedt een levendige binnenstad die een * must * -bezoek is op ongeveer 20 minuten afstand. Er is ook een verscheidenheid aan nachtopties in Provincetown.

Jog of fiets langs Ocean View Drive. Vissen, zwemmen of ontspannen op het strand of op uw patio op steenworp afstand van de Atlantische Oceaan. Bereid u over het algemeen voor op een geweldig, leuk en opwindend zomervakantie met vrienden, familie en de mensen van LeCount Hollow Beach en Wellfleet! Je zult niet teleurgesteld zijn.

Spring in Wellfleet

Had a wonderful weekend despite the rainy weather. Location to beach is ideal and we got to see some HUGE storm waves! Several restaurants nearby are open year round which was a plus. Close to Provincetown and the National Seashore beaches. Communication with David was excellent and everything was as described. Nice furniture set up and room to spread out with the downstairs bedroom and full bath. Will definitely be returning to this Wellfleet gem. Thanks!

We very much enjoyed our stay here and loved walking and biking to LeCount Hollow. The first floor rooms were a good fit for our family of five. However, you should note that the third bedroom is in the basement and was not ideal for us (dark and a little musty). Still a fabulous place to stay though.

Great house and location but filthy upon our arrival

We loved the house which is a short and easy walk from an uncrowded beach. Unfortunately, it had not been cleaned after the previous renters. Floors and beds were covered in sand, counters and dishes unwashed, sinks full of dark beard trimmings, and toilets and bathroom floors encrusted with dried urine. Because of our children arriving soon, my wife and I got to work and spent our first day of vacation scrubbing the kitchen, bathrooms, and flooring. We were reimbursed for the $150 cleaning fee we had paid but not for the cost of the house that day or the loss of our first day of vacation. After our forced maid duties, we were able to enjoy the comfortable, well-equipped house which is in an ideal location with the nearby beach and biking rail trail. We were considerate and left the house much cleaner than the previous renters.

We loved the location. It is less than a mile from the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking and running and an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Also 30 minute drive to Provincetown and 10 minute drive to downtown Wellfleet. Very quiet neighborhood and nice backyard outdoor space for use all times of the day.

Great Wellfleet Getaway

The house was very clean and setup perfectly to handle a family and then some. It is incredibly conveniently located to the beach so you do not need to worry about packing your car and getting parking . You simply walk to the end of the road and the trail to beach is 100ft long. We could have easily stayed another week or more. There is a nice back patio to eat and grill your dinner too. Would definitely come back next summer.

Perfect House, Perfect Location

Our first time in Cape Cod, and this house was just what we needed- all of the necessary amenities, very clean, updated nicely, and plenty of space for our entire family. The location was perfect to visit many locations around the Cape, including beaches, restaurants, and shops. Working with the owner was easy and responses were quick. We had no issues with cleanliness or maintenance of the property at all. If we come back to the Cape, I would definitely look here again!!

Beautiful Getaway in Wellfleet

Family-friendly beach house in a quiet neighborhood near all the sights of Wellfleet. Great location. Walked to the beach every morning and brought the kids to the ponds. Short drives to Chatham, Truro, and Provincetown for dinner. The house has a finished basement with its own bed and bathroom which proved ideal for a babysitter to have their privacy. Highly recommended!

Pros- great location, easy walk to a beautiful beach. Plenty of space, really nice back yard! Great outdoor shower. Property has great potential, perhaps just needs better management. Cons- Beds were in very poor condition, dirty and very hard. Double bed had a topper on it that was too big, our toddlers fell out of bed repeatedly so we ended up putting them in the queen. Rollaway bed wasn’t there. We notified owner immediately, yet the cot didn’t arrive until the following day. When it finally did arrive, it was extremely old and had a huge indent in the center of it and a wheel was broken. We closed it right back up and couldn’t use it. We notified owner of the cot’s condition, heard nothing back. We had to try to scramble to arrange sleeping for everyone with one less bed. Queen bed was especially hard. Looked to be very old. There was a load of dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived. The cabinets had food left in them from previous visitors. Surfaces had to be wiped down as there were many food stains. Kitchen chair was broken. Overall needed a good cleaning. We took photos of issues upon arrival and left the property in much cleaner condition than when we arrived. Fire pit in the backyard didn’t work. We thought it was a propane issue, but tank was full. Overall property was nice and had great potential, you could tell that time has been put into making it cozy, it just needs better management/general upkeep.

Another great stay!

My wife and I stayed her for a week with another couple and their two kids. We've stayed at almost a dozen Cape properties between us and this is the one we like to keep returning to. For us, it has everything we love about the Cape. The location is in the National Seashore, so it is peaceful and quiet. There are hiking trails within walking distance, and of course Lecount Hollow beach is just a five minute walk. Between the birds, red squirrels, rabbits, and a fox, there is a lot of wildlife around, and I got a bunch of great photos just sitting on the patio. The house is very comfortable as well. Great beds, comfortable couches. The kitchen has everything you need to make your meals. That is, if you're not taking advantage of the restaurants about a 5 minute drive away. Add in the outdoor shower and I was in Cape heaven. Looking forward to coming back.
