'I was very sceptical when I saw the neighborhood and the outside of the hotel,but once I checked in I was pleasantly surprised. Recently renovated rooms,very nice. The downside was the tissue which wasn't even 1ply and completely see through and even though the doors had a deadbolt, the extra lock at the top would have been a bonus. Bathroom was small but again big enough for me.It was quiet and peaceful.'

Make sure if you go there to eat at Sammy's across the street (it was so good, we ate there 3 times. Also Mike the tiger was a highlight (he seems to be active and playful in the mornings). I liked the windowless bedroom, cabinets were plentiful and well-stocked in kitchen, everything was very clean and enough towels. Toilet worked better when I poured additional water into tank. First time stay at place with no front desk. Remote person could have better explained timing of providing needed entry code. Only complaint.'

'Upon arrival check in was great. Booked a room on the third floor which was clean but had roaches. Front desk immediately came up to room with keys for another room. Ask me if they could see the bug and said that room would be exterminated. Moved to a higher floor and had no issues. Be prepared to pay for parking. '

The room had all the necessities I needed for a night stay, comfortable bed, fluffy and supportive pillows, AC unit that can be adjusted to liking, a small dining table, a microwave, a mid size refrigerator, and a clean bathroom.
