'Sterk verouderd hotel. Daar is de prijs ook naar. Prima ontbijt en ideale locatie aan het strand en op 15 minuten rijden van de mooie wegen in Lake District. Bar en eten was top! Toilet bediening werkte niet erg goed. In het hotel hing een wat muffe lucht.'

The room was extremely comfortable and clean exactly what we needed after a long day in the hills. Super friendly locals and good food even threw in a extra sausage with my breakfast for the pooch. Very good value as well 10/10 stay and would definitely recommend.'

'A perfect stay! Amazing comfy, cosy and massive bed which gave a perfect night sleep ahead of us climbing Scafell Pike which was really easy to get to. Super clean, loved the modern touches but also the traditional parts which remained from the barn. Breakfast was amazing and loved that it catered to vegetarian and non-dairy options without having to ask for this. We loved watching the alpacas from our bedroom. The freshly made cakes each day were such a treat and tasted beautiful. Only 10 mins...

'Prima hotel met zeer ruime kamers. Niet het nieuwste van het nieuwste maar prima geschikt voor 3 of meer dagen. In deze kamer wel een oud springveren matras en wiebelig bed. uitstekend restaurant, prima service en ruim assortiment bier aan de bar. Top verblijf in de buurt van het Lakedistrict. binnenplaats met ruime parkeer gelegenheid ook voor de motor.(Wifi kan beter, slecht ontvangst in de kamer)'
