'It was same as described'

'Overall, we loved our stay. Extremely convenient location on the mountain where you can put your skis on as soon as you step out the door to glide to a chairlift. The unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Our unit had a double bunk bed in one room, but there was no ladder to the very high top bunk which made it a bit of a challenge to get to... fortunately, we had a young crew that handled it ok. We had arranged for 3 parking passes in advance, yet when we arrived, there were none left...

'It’s quite hard to expand on “WOW”! What a wonderful place to stay. The unit is spacious quiet, clean and well appointed. First off the location is right in the middle of historic downtown Fernie. Right off your doorstep there are great local restaurants and shops. Big Bang Bagel and Rooftop Roasters are awesome places to start your day. For an incredible meal you must visit Himalayan Spice Bistro. For leisure there are lots of places to visit whether it’s biking, hiking or hanging at the beach...

'This is a great ski condo and still wonderful for summer when we were there. We highly recommend it. The views are endlessly fascinating. the place is spacious with 2 bdrms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is useful and the building has two gas grills and a great hot tub. Fernie is 10 minutes away via a scenic drive along the Elk River. Fernie is the quintessential charming mountain town. Our main host Leonie (and others) was thoughtful, responsive, and very helpful for our stay.'

'We arrived at a well stocked very clean condo with an air conditioner humming. It was lovely. We went out on the deck with a glass of wine and enjoyed looking at the mountain. We could see many of the runs and because it was summer we watched the mountain bikers coming down. The bed was comfortable, the hot tub hot and the security good. We’ve stayed in many condos on the mountain and this is one of our favourites. '

"Well, there where a few things missing on the ceiling, just the overall ambiance was not totally there, this was not the worst of the hotels we stayed in, the last couple of weeks, but definitely not the best. We spent time in cheaper hotels, that where nicer."

Met zware koffers over een gammele houten trap naar de eerste verdieping, kamerpasjes moesten meerdere keren vervangen worden omdat ze het niet deden, handdoeken waren vies, kachel onder het raam was volledig verroest, deur sloot niet goed en zat een grote kier in, airco deed het slecht, zwembad was vies en omringd door een hek dat op omvallen stond. Algehele indruk: zeer gedateerd, slecht onderhouden hotel. "
