quiet getaway to GNP
The house is located in a quiet golf course community just minutes from the west entrance to Glacier NP. It's big enough for several families although it was just the two of us there. It's very clean and everything you need to prepare food and cook is located in the kitchen (except a spatula). A nice patio is located in the backyard to watch the deer (which we didn't see!) and golfers. Highly recommend and James is easily available if there is a need for anything.

This was an amazing place to stay! The location is so close to the west entrance of GNP. There is a tiny grocery store and restaurant near by. They are both a little expensive, but perfect if you don’t mind paying for convenience. James was wonderful and accommodating to work with. Also, the house was a lot bigger than I expected. There is plenty of space for your family and the kitchen was well stocked. I would recommend this location to anyone!

Awesome location and place to stay
The location is great. 4-5 miles from Apgar village. Quiet neighborhood that backs up to the golf course. Deer that visit each early morning and evening. And the cabin itself is stocked way beyond your average rental. The cabin was extremely clean and very spacious. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was easy to work in. Large back deck was a peaceful way to spend the late evenings or early morning before hitting the park. The only negative was that the DirecTV was a no-go. Owner was notified the day of check-in. We were told that AT&T was supposed to be out on weds but they were a no show. The TV was also very dated so no chance for wireless internet connection nor screen mirroring. This should be addressed immediately especially as cheap that smart TVs are now. Even with that, we would stay there again in a heartbeat! But we would bring a Fire stick!!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spotless, well equipped, conveniently located to Glacier, and was perfect for us and our two adult sons. We instantly felt at home. Communication with James was easy. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch sipping our coffee in the mornings and unwinding after long days of hiking.

Great experience!
Very functional, comfortable, roomy home. Kitchen is well-equipped with high end appliances and everything needed for meal prep. Very nice, clean outdoor propane grill. The home is spotless and very well maintained. Host was very nice and helpful. Located about five minutes from the west entrance to Glacier. When we return we will definitely try to stay there again!

This was our second stay at James house and we enjoyed the house just as much as our first visit. The house itself has been very clean on both our stays and the location is wonderful with great views. Communication with James is very easy and he is quick to reply to inquiries. We have appreciated James allowing us to stay here and already have a trip booked there next year!

Great location to west entrance of Glacier National Park
The cabin is comfortable, quiet and convenient about a mile from the Glacier National Park entrance. This was a family trip for 6 adults. Four females and two males. I am the oldest, breathing 70, and I made all of the arrangements. We did not get to meet the host but both my niece and I had contact with James. He is very pleasant. I only have two suggestions. For families that are going to “eat in”, we could only find two pans and both had lost their teflon coating. A nice set of pots and pans is needed for families that are going to cook and would make this five star. On a minor note, only two bath towels were available to each person. While there is a washing machine, we were on vacation and more towels would have been appreciated. Overall, my family loved the trip.

Dear Maureen and family, Thanks so much for your time and suggestions. We took immediate action once we saw your feedback, we replaced the pans which were bought last summer with new sets ASAP today. We did have extra towels in cabin for our guests. I contacted your group few times during your stay, I hope I could hear this at that time so that you could get more towels before your check out. Fantastic location, excellent home!
We had a fantastic time of staying at this home. The location is excellent. Minutes away from West glacier, going to the Sun road, Apgar village and all the surrounding towns. The home is well-stocked, tons of room, beautiful deck facing the golf course and in close proximity to the Flathead River. The beds were very comfortable and there was so much room in that house to spread out. Plenty of amenities in the kitchen, great dining room, and a separate family room and living room. We would not hesitate to go back and stay here again. Also enjoyed a couple rounds of golf at the glacier view golf course that ran along the back of the property. Overall fantastic experience. Would definitely stay again! Thanks James!

Great time
Great time at the property. We were able to drop our bags before checking in and see the area. Very convenient to visit Glacier and the surrounding area. Very relaxing to come back to after a day out and about. The rooms and area was roomy for our 3 couples. We should have disposed of the trash each day instead of waiting until the last day.

We are in bear country, a bear was noticed multiple times in our neighborhood during your stay period. Any trash or trash can outside cabin would attract bears and it's not safe for our guest. Our neighborhood stopped any trash can use, this would minimize the bear risk in this area. Thanks for your understanding and support. We are looking forward to your return in the future. James

This was a great fit for our family of 6 (2 adults, 3 teenagers, and a 12-year-old). Everyone had room to spread out. The best thing is that it was close to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park and there is so much to do on the West side. Our family enjoyed cooking meals at the home, which was very well stocked with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this home for others traveling to the park!

Home Away from Home
Our stay at Glacier View Cabin was a delight! We felt at home as soon as we pulled in the drive. I almost expected “Mom” with outstretched arms to open the door. The house was immaculately clean and fully supplied with everything needed to cook, to wash, to play games, or to hike. The house was spacious and allowed our 5 adults to each have some alone time. The roomy kitchen allowed several cooks together to prep meals without stepping on each other. We loved watching the mountains, night skies, and regular wildlife in the yard. The river across the road beckoned all to kick off shoes, wade, and skip rocks. Our stay at this home for the week is a treasured memory. But none of this would have been possible without such an excellent host. James was easily accessible and gave us tips for hiking or for avoiding heatstroke during the recent heat wave. Truly the home is a reflection of a kind and considerate host. We would love to return.

The house was in a perfect location for a visit to Glacier National Park and beyond. James has it well stocked and it was very clean. We walked down the road to play in the river, got in a round of golf, enjoyed sitting on the deck at night while kids played in the yard- we didn’t need anything else! Beautiful house and amazing location!
Our family stayed here for 4 nights and everything about it was perfect...exactly as described in the listing. James was easy to communicate with and the access to Going to the Sun Road was so easy. Bear spray and bug spray was provided (but never needed!) Be sure to walk across the street and see the river access...a beautiful spot for relaxing and wading in the river. Further down the street there is access to a wider section of the river which is great for swimming. This house was a real find!

Beautiful Location!
After driving two days to get to Glacier, we were rewarded with staying at spacious home with a beautiful, peaceful view of a golf course . Great deck, too! Not only that but the kitchen had supplies that are usually not provided: plastic wrap and bags, cans of beans, butter and jam, flour and pancake mix, and spices and oil. That was really cool because we don't like to eat out. James was really responsive and even helpful in sorting out the Road to the Sun ticket requirement.

We loved the open floor plan of the shared living space. The rooms were spaced apart well and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend this place! It was so nice to walk around the golf course after dinner. Having a good washer and dryer was a bonus as well.

Perfect Glacier accommodations
This property is excellent. It is roomy, well-appointed, comfortable, very clean and in tiptop shape. It is close to the West Glacier entrance to the park and is very quiet. It made our stay very enjoyable. I would highly recommend it and would stay here again.

About as close to Glacier as you can get
Great location, just outside the park. House is very clean and comfortable. Property manager communicates very well and was very accommodating. Only one drawback: we were expected to deal with trash and recycling disposal—a major hassle when departing on a holiday, with trash/recycling center closed. For the price, this really should not fall to the renter.

Best Location and Home Away from Home
We agree with other reviews that this house is perfection in an amazing area of the country. We loved the location to town, restaurants, coffee and ice cream, entrance to the park and great golf views. We took advantage of the free golf which included clubs and cart. We have a few fly fishermen in the family and they fished on the river across the street while others played golf. We have stayed at many VRBO locations and this one is perhaps the cleanest and most well stocked we have encountered. We were a party of 5 adults and the 3 bedroom/2.5 baths worked out perfectly. We hope to come back to GNP at some point in the future and would stay here again for sure. Thank you James!

Fantastic home in beautiful setting
This home is exactly as described and the owners have considered every detail. All cabinets are well labeled and there are plentiful amenities including guidebooks, maps, first aid kit, and bear spray! The home is comfortable with great bathrooms and the setting is beautiful. Easy to love and enjoy! Nice space for 7, three BR. 2 separate living areas. Great outdoor space on deck with gas BBQ. Very clean, comfortable beds. Lots of games, books, DVDs, but we spent all our time outside in the spectacular summer weather. Very near south entrance to Glacier. We would stay again!

GNP Perfection
This property surpassed all of our expectations! Not only was it very clean and well-stocked, but the layout was perfect for our group of six. Lovely cabin, very spacious, beautiful views
My family and I (6 adults) stayed at James' cabin in July 2019. It is very close to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. We had a great time staying here. The cabin is very spacious. The living room is very cozy, there was seating for all of us. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The Wi-Fi works well through the house. The kitchen is well-equipped. There was no cell phone data around this area for ATT and T-mobile, so having Wi-Fi was very useful. The area around the cabin is pretty and wooded, the backyard opens up to a golf course. We saw deer graze around in the backyard. The river is very close to the house, a nice spot to chill. I would recommend this cabin to others and would love to stay again. James was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you James for letting us stay at your cabin.

Beautiful Glacier House
This is a beautiful vacation house ideal for family or friends visiting the Glacier National Park area. Located just minutes from the west entrance of the park, this house sits in a quiet , peaceful neighborhood with beautifully kept grounds and open views of the surrounding area. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The space was ideal for our group with its three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was a comfortable and relaxing place to use as our homebase while exploring the area. Our communication with the owner was exceptional. He provided us with any information we needed and was always quick to respond to our emails. He truly seemed to care that his guests were comfortable and enjoying their stay at his property. This house has everything you might need. Dishes, spices, utensils, soap, even food containers, ziplockss and paper plates! Very cozy and well-maintained. Super close to the West entrance, grocery store nearby. Really good base! I’d gladly stay there again:)
