This Cabin is perfect!
It was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and we couldn't be happier with our accommodations. This place is spotlessly clean, the deck and the view were perfect for morning coffee ! A great location where we could take a walk in the morning. Paddle boat was fun for a sunset cruise! Everything was just perfect!

Glacier National Park Stay
This is a lovely log cabin on Lake 5. Beautiful views of the lake from both levels of the cabin. This cabin is only one mike to the apgar entrance for Glacier NP. Our visit was focused on the park so we didn’t use the lake during the stay but we enjoyed the views. There is a canoe and paddle boat for your use. The upstairs loft has a comfy king bed with a view of the lake and has a toilet and sink. Downstairs is a queen bed. My daughter thought the mattress was a tad too soft.Saw elk and deer on the property which was more than we saw in the park. This property works well for two couples or a family of four.

A Lake View Modern Cabin Away From Crowds
The authentic log cabin also has modern architectural and design features. The master bedroom, living room and kitchen are located on the lower level; with access to a sleeping loft provided by a massive wooden staircase. A spacious deck has an outdoor grill, seating area and SPECTACULAR view of the lake. A dock with a canoe and paddle boats are available by agreement with with owed. Trudy is a unique hostess who is welcoming, engaging and creative in her commitment to resolving any problems should they arise. West Glacier is just one mile to the east, and provided easy access to Lake McDonald Lodge to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary ‼️

Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, amazing views from the deck, 5mins from Glacier west entrance, close to flathead lake (incredible) and direct access to lake five was awesome - great way to end a day of hiking! Great cabin near Glacier NP
We loved our stay in this cabin. It’s clean, spacious and has a beautiful location on a lake. The private dock to swim, canoe or use a paddle boat was a highlight for my kids! The check in process was really easy, although we didn’t get the exact address until the day of check in. We arrived late but our property manager was really attentive in the days leading up to check in and there were zero issues. This property is about a 5-10 minute drive to the west entrance to Glacier NP which was the reason for our visit. I thought the location was great. West Glacier and Apgar are really cute, with shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place (and have to several people already)!

Beautiful cabin
The cabin was gorgeous and the host was super helpful. The loft has a lot of light so make sure to bring an eye mask if you’re a sensitive light sleeper, but the view to the lake is amazing. They have a dock with lake access that was so perfect. Definitely will stay again. The comments about internet are real: it’s not consistent so don’t rely on having it.

Beautiful Place!
Loved our visit here! It was super clean and everything we expected. We loved coffee in the mornings and cocktails at night on the deck looking at the lake - during the days we were in the park which was super close by. As listed there is no washer or dryer at the cabin but in Columbia Falls we easily found a great place to do a load of laundry, while having a quick bite to eat. Highly recommend this property!

Amazing Stay at Lake Five/Glacier National Park!
We loved our stay at this beautiful place right on the lake! Macy was so helpful with check-in and always available. The place was beautiful and it was perfectly located right outside of the park. It was such a perk to be able to use the dock and the peddleboats and really enjoy the lake. The house was so clean and had everything we would have needed. We loved this place and would love to stay again in the future!!

Beautiful Cabin on Lake
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time staying in the cabin for two nights. We even took the canoe out into the small lake. It was so peaceful and beautiful! I highly recommend this property for anybody that wants to have a little downtime and a beautiful location.

This is a lovely home and has beautiful views. Very clean and had almost everything we needed. Cell service there is a bit of a challenge so communicating with the host at times was a bit challenging but we would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful Cabin Close to Glacier
Wonderful experience! The cabin is beautiful, nicely decorated, clean, and was the perfect size for my Dad and I. The location is extremely convenient -- a few minutes from West Glacier entrance. The cabin is on a little hill above a private lake and has a nice views through the trees of the water. The owner's cabin sits a little lower on the hill right on the lake and they're around but let us have our privacy and were very friendly. They let us have access to their dock and canoe/paddle boats which was awesome! As the listing says, there's no TV and limited cell service but we loved this aspect of it and feeling off the grid. Would definitely come back!

A slice of heaven
Staying at the cabin was seriously a slice of heaven. The cabin is well equipped, clean, and cozy! It was located minutes from Glacier National Park and, also, just steps away from the beautiful lake it is on. My husband and I never wanted to leave! Tamara and Nic were responsive and helpful during our time there. We hope to come back and enjoy more homemade goodies that the host’s bakery offers.

Love the proximity of this location to the park. It has a gorgeous view and is right on a lake. Provides a nice stay with a fire pit and a dock. Had to go into town for service as the wifi didn’t work. Not a problem if you don’t have people to reach. I would say the check in process is a bit unnecessary , since I had to plan in advance vendors to come to the VRBO for my elopement I had to give them an address, which is not given to you. I ended up looking it up on Montana property records just to be able to send my vendors an address since I asked the Host 12 months prior to my arrival and didn’t receive a response until a week before which still didn’t contain an address. I personally wouldn’t stay again due to the feeling of other cabins being right next to you, there’s a loss of privacy. But I would recommend as a comfy place to stay that’s right outside of the park.

We enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the lake more. The hostess was so sweet and we ordered some goodies from the bakery and they were wonderful! Cinnamon rolls are amazing! And huge! My only suggestions would be another mirror in the house and of course Wi-Fi, mainly because we couldn’t research what we wanted to do in town until we went to town. With AT&T we did get some spotty 5g but it was hit and miss. Also the posting stays coin laundry under amenities. And there is no laundry until the town Hungry Horse. We are on day 12 of a rv trip and try to do laundry when we do Vrbo, so we had to take time out from going on the lake of our costly rental to do laundry. That was a bummer. But all in all we made do.

Amazing lakeside getaway
Gorgeous property with gracious and helpful hosts! Loved having lake access, hearing the loons early in the morning, having their fresh- baked pastries on the deck & fire in the evening, and all near west gate access to GNP! All the comforts & amenities, but the one thing (small thing) we would've appreciated would've been a small auto coffee maker or French press as the supplied Keurig & "starter" pods just didn't cut it for us. No complaints, it was an otherwise perfect stay in an almost perfect property!

Great vacation rental. Close to the national park. Awesome use of firepit canoe and paddle boat. Downside was no paper towels otherwise all needs were met. I had no problem with no wifi or tv. Nice stay in West Glacier
This is a clean, well-kept cabin on a beautiful lake and well located minutes from all the happenings in West Glacier, but the check-in process needs to be smoother. We met a representative at a nearby farmer's market, then followed her a couple miles to the cabin, which could have been communicated better. We had to ask for the cabin address after arrival, which shows up on navigation just fine. We used this as a place to crash while enjoying West Glacier, and it served its purpose. We ordered some baked goods, which were excellent. No wifi, no TV and weak phone signal were minor inconveniences. Two nitpicks: Couldn't get the provided fan to start on a warm night and please just hang a curtain in front of the upstairs toilet.

Relaxing
The were a few bugs I won’t go into. We were the first rental of the season. Being on the lake was great. The property managers were on site in the next cabin and eager to help when the water went out. A couple clamps later and good to go. I would definitely recommend this rental and if we repeat GNP trip, I would consider staying here again. We were thinking of staying in the park should we return due to the sun rod requirements for a pass to drive on it. If you stay in the park it’s included.

Disconnect from reality
This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. You are on the water, and Trudi provides a dock, pedal boat, and canoe. There is also a fire pit that we utilized for smores. I will point out though- please know there is no wifi or TV, and for the price per night I thought it would! It was my mistake not looking more into this before booking. The connection is very sparse, and we only really got any connection or phone service when we went in closer to town. It was very nice to disconnect but for those who may have little ones, you may want to note that. The top loft is neat but the solo toilet up there without a door or curtain or anything was a bit weird, but we just did not use it. Nic was awesome at checking us in and making sure we had everything we needed. He even provided personal recommendations which I really appreciated. Overall, a gorgeous break from reality. Beautiful location!!
It’s just hard to beat the location of this cabin! So close to Glacier National Park and right on a beautiful lake. The cabin was super clean & stocked. My boys loved the loft area. The last day we were there they put the dock in & got the canoe & paddle boat out. I bet in the summer they are awesome to use! Nic was very friendly and hospitable. He was awesome to communicate with and willing to help with anything we needed! Honestly the only things I would have changed would have been having a washer & dryer and a real coffee pot instead of a Keurig. Thanks so much for sharing your cabin with us!

Lovin' Life in Glacier
Where to start - we enjoyed amazing communication with Ron prior to our arrival and during our stay. This little cottage is adorable inside and out. Aside from the cottage being spotless, the beds were unbelievably comfortable (super cute) and we were left wanting for nothing, but more time in Montana. The location is a stone's throw from the West Glacier Park entrance and about 30 minutes from the airport and surrounding small cities. Easy drive to everything. If you are looking to unplug and enjoy nature, this is where you would find your peace and tranquility. Thanks to Ron and Trudi for making our stay special! Hope to see you again in 2022!

A little slice of heaven
We enjoyed staying at this property tremendously! The cabin was impeccably clean and the views of the lake were fantastic. I was a bit worried initially after booking and learning there was no central heat and knowing it was supposed to get down under 20 degrees, but the cabin had several nice, automatic space heaters so it was very warm and comfortable. We loved our stay here and also loved that the location was so close to Glacier National Park for hiking and exploring. We hope to come back one day soon! Perfect Location - Incredible View
The cabin was ideal for two couples - the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and both indoor and outdoor spaces were super inviting. We loved being 5 minutes from the West Glacier entrance to the NP and less than 20 minutes from Whitefish and Kalispell. The hosts were really helpful and made perfect recommendations for restaurants in the area. Every detail is attended to with this cabin, including a tutorial on being bear aware and replacing linens midway through our stay. We were there at the very end of the season (Oct. 6-10) so it was a little chilly to enjoy the lake (other than the awesome views) but if I ever have a chance to visit again, I'll try to make it when the weather is warm. The lake and lake toys were begging for me to join the fun.
