'It was wonderful! '

'Perfect location for our visit; one block from the Nauvoo Temple. The apartment is well stocked and the four bedrooms are spacious and comfortable for a large group. Parking is right on the street and so easy, steps from the front door. We ate at the lower level restaurant for multiple meals and it was great quality and price. The apartment is quiet and cozy and everything you would want for stopping in this small town. '

'We had a WONDERFUL time staying here! Pete was amazingly friendly, gave us a personal tour when we arrived and made sure we were all set up. The property and rooms were just as described and so much fun! The pictures really don't do it justice and just entering is jaw dropping. The game room was amazing, especially when the lights were off. We loved the common space for parents and the let the bridal party have the basement mostly. We are already thinking of gatherings we can have back here as...

'Great river location. Plenty of room for 4 couples. Giant tv in basement was fun for kid’s video games. Restaurant next door had great staff and was very convenient the nights I didn’t feel like cooking.'

'We had 33 or so family members meet at this location for Thanksgiving. Overall is was a great experience. The headliner is the view of the Mississippi. The property is up on a hill and provides a gorgeous view. Lisa was very responsive to all of our needs. Note that alcohol is not permitted at this location (on my phone that detail was slightly hidden in the rules section under “show more.” Thanks for a great property to reconnect with a large family!'

'My friend and I stayed for an extended weekend at the Sweet Tart Bungalow and we had a great time! Close to stores and amenities when we needed them, but far enough out that it still felt pretty quiet. The house had a lot of fun character. Thanks so much!'

'Nauvoo was a mid point ti meet a family member and continue work on our family tree. The historical site was the main reason we chose Nauvoo. A little search on Vrbo, we found a historic home to stay in. What a treat! The rental was beyond the price point we usually seek but the home was the cherry on top of a wonderful visit. Very nice property'

'We came in from three different states to have family time and to attend a wedding! Since we live in three states, it was awesome to have a quiet, home to stay in!! I wish the decks had been swept, but the home was beautiful!! For a family of 10 and a 8 month old, it was a perfect gathering spot!! Other family came for a brunch before the wedding and we hosted 18 people easily!!! The hosts were so easy to work with and communicate with!!! We would stay here again!!!'

'House built in 1901 so has uneven floors, but you couldn’t ask for a more charming place. So clean accommodations and everything you need to make your stay pleasurable. I would recommend and will be booking it again!!'

'We were only in town for a couple of nights and had a uniquely fun experience in Nauvoo. Beds were firm, but not uncomfortable. Kitchen was sparsely stocked with pans but doable for a meal for 6. We were warned about the lack of grocery stores in Nauvoo and planned accordingly. Overall we enjoyed the quirkiness of multiple additions to a charming old house.'

'This house has everything you could possibly need (but didn’t realize you needed) especially for families with kids from pack and play and tons of toys to best stocked kitchen we’ve ever stayed at.'

'Ceilings a little thin. Sounded like a soccer game going above our room. LOL. Bunch of soccer kids staying for a tournament. Kids should have fun. Slept through it. '
