'We had a lovely stay at the Swallow Loft. It is a very unique property perfectly close to Galway’s city center. Peggy was very responsive especially with the issue with the humidity level we were experiencing in the place. I think this place is best for 2 people as the bedroom/bathroom at the lower level smelled a little musty. The overall cleaning looked ok but not fresh.'

'Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat.'

'My wife, my mom (whose account I am reviewing from), and a friend stayed at Debbie’s property for a week in late October. I am always a bit leery of beautiful photos in listings because they can be taken from good angles that mislead you a bit. That couldn’t be further from the truth here. Everything about this property is as perfect as you see in the photos. We hiked local trails, we visited the lovely Kylemore Abbey (and don’t miss the gardens!), we ate at the Renvyle hotel, Veldon’s Seafarer...

'Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

'I preferred this location as we were just outside the Latin Quarter, just a few minutes walk. Communication was great and assistance was prompt if anything was needed. Also, Tesco is just at the end of the street, making it that much easier to get the necessary goods.'

'What an amazing place to spend Christmas! There was a Christmas tree in the window, right next to the fire. We slept great, enjoyed wonderful meals with the fully equipped kitchen, explored the area, walked to a pub or two and just relaxed. Loved our visit. Bernie, that checked us in, was the sweetest. 'Tidy and well equipped apartement located in a quite, peaceful area near the sea. Anna is a welcoming and caring host. Check-In and Check-Out went smoothly, as well as the communication. A car is a must. Anna gave us some good recommandations about what to do,where to eat, or where to stop for a drink ;). You won't get bored here. Electricity works by inserting 1 or 2€ coins. We've spent 8€ for 3 Days. The radiators used up quite a bit electricity. Just don't use it too much. ;) All in all, we...

'We had an enjoyable stay in the cottage. There is a lot of useful information material, but some information was outdated (WiFi password, name and number of the local manager, number of the proprietor). This made it difficult to contact manager or proprietor when we encountered a problem. Once contact was established, the problem was resolved smoothly. There is a nice 8 km walk starting from the cottage, the finest part of which is a stretch of coastline that is only accessible at low tide....
