  • "Absoluut Hoog"

    West Jefferson, NC - Absolute High ligt op een bergwand op een hoogte van 3900 voet en biedt een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht dat u de adem beneemt. Vanaf het moment dat je aankomt, voel je je meteen thuis. Binnen vindt u een stenen open haard met gasblokken in de woonkamer, ideaal om op een koele Carolina Mountain-avond door te kruipen.

    De keuken, eet- en woongedeeltes staan allemaal open voor elkaar, dus iedereen die kookt, mist een minuut plezier. De keuken is goed uitgerust om te koken. 2 slaapkamers zijn boven die een ligbad delen. Een kamer biedt een queensize bed en de andere biedt 2 aparte bedden. Op het hoogste niveau is de master suite met een queensize bed en een bad met jacuzzi en inloopdouche. Satelliet-tv met lokale zenders en het ESPN-pakket is beschikbaar op de flatscreen-tv in de woonkamer.

    Beneden vindt u een nieuwe theaterzaal met comfortabele zitplaatsen en een grote flatscreen-tv. Een nieuwe tafelvoetbalspeltafel is ook beschikbaar!

    Of u nu de hele dag door West Jefferson wandelt, Mount Jefferson wandelt, kanoën of vissen op de New River of gaat winkelen in Tanger Outlet Shoppes in Blowing Rock, u zult zeker terugkomen naar deze blokhut met een panoramisch uitzicht op de Blue Ridge Mountains. Gelegen op slechts enkele minuten van het centrum van West Jefferson, NC en een klein eindje rijden van Boone, NC en Blowing Rock, NC. Banner Elk, NC, Linville Gorge en Grandfather Mountain zijn allemaal gemakkelijke dagtochten vanuit dit huis in Carolina Mountain.

Great Mountain Getaway

Great cabin with amazing views! Close to town for restaurants and shopping. Especially loved the groundhog who lives out front!

The view was great, not hard to get to. It was very nice inside. Great location for a stunning view but close enough to West Jefferson or Old Barn winery.

Wonderful Mountain Retreat

By far the cleanest rental we have ever stayed at! Very happy with the mountain views and cabin was exactly as advertised. Easy and quick drive to downtown West Jefferson. We can't wait to get back!

Relaxation at its best!

Absolute High was absolutely amazing. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, secluded yet close enough to town. The views….breathtaking! We will definitely rent this cabin again.

We had a very nice stay at Absolute High. This was our 1st time booking a vacation rental through Vrbo. The cabin was very clean and spacious. There is a game room and a media room downstairs. There is nice view of the mountains from the back deck. We cooked out on the grill! The location is perfect. It's just a short drive into town and also close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We would definitely book this location again.

The perfect Christmas cabin

We arrived to snow! The house is located at the top of the mountain and there are gorgeous views from the top of the driveway to the mountains on one side and another expansive, gorgeous view of the mountains and valley stretching out behind the house from the back windows and porches. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was super clean and comfortable and it was the perfect holiday retreat.

Great place!

We had a wonderful stay at Absolute High. Small glitch with the fireplace so be sure to ask if gas has been delivered if looking to rent soon. Otherwise, nothing but great things to say-well stocked-very clean and cozy. Would definitely rent here again.

Great Views, Cottage and Location

The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished, but a little cozy for larger groups. Full disclosure, we were there for Thanksgiving and there were 4 Master Chefs (in our own minds) trying to prepare the dinner at the same time (LOL). Anyway... we had a wonderful time, the cabin was lovely, everything in the cabin worked and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing, comfortable getaway, with wonderful views. and quiet relaxation.

Great views

The cabin had great views and was short drive to the town. Overall the stay great, the basement area was mostly unusable because of how cold it was so I would request a space heater. The doors are also difficult to open and lock. Other than those minor inconveniences, the place was nice. Would recommend.

3 Day Vacation

It was very Relaxing and Enjoyable to sit in the Rockers on the back deck and take the Mountains in. My Husband and I with our 2 Dogs (Toy Maltese and Shorkipoo) Enjoyed our stay. The Cabin was very Clean, and the Kitchen was well stocked with Pots/Pans/Utensils etc for Preparing a meal. This Cabin is within minutes of Downtown West Jefferson to a Variety of Wonderful Shopping and Restaurants. We Recommend Carolina Mountain Rentals Staff they are very nice, professional and knowledgeable.

Reviewer Comments: Our stay was excellent! The views were everything to have coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. We saw deer below the deck almost every day. There was a Gray Hawk that flew by several times. We put up a humming bird and had hummers in 15 minutes. It was also a treat to see the US Air Force F-16s fly by below the mountains. We are planning our next visit.
