Jackson's Ridge ligt op een heuvel met uitzicht op de historische New River perfect om te zwemmen, vissen, slangen, kajakken, wandelen en picknicken.?Deze vakantiewoning biedt een eigen en directe toegang tot het water, op slechts een korte loopafstand van het huis. Bomen aan beide zijden van dit prachtige bergverblijf bieden u de privacy die u zoekt, terwijl de brede en prachtige veranda met dubbel dek prachtige rivier-, heuveltop- en pastorale uitzichten biedt.


Jackson's Ridge's heldere open plattegrond maakt het gemakkelijk om met je vrienden en familie te socializen. Het uitgestrekte overdekte terras op het hoogste niveau is de ideale plek om buiten te grillen, te eten, te genieten of een serene eenzaamheid te genieten, omringd door de wonderen van de natuur.Binnen vindt u de ruime woonkamer met grote ramen die uitkijken op het uitzicht, een gewelfd plafond, prachtige hardhouten vloeren, een flatscreen-tv en een open haard op gas. De goed uitgeruste keuken biedt voldoende werkruimte en staat open voor de woon- en eetruimtes.


U wordt echt de baas over dit domein wanneer u de dag afsluit in het bubbelbad en vervolgens rechtstreeks naar uw slaapkamer gaat met een comfortabel kingsize bed en een eigen badkamer. Deze master suite bevindt zich op het lagere niveau, waar u ook de wasruimte vindt voor uw gemak.


Dit lagere niveau, dat ook een grote familiekamer met tv en een tafelvoetbalspel omvat, opent naar het benedendek en de tuin, met een mooi, goed onderhouden gazon aan de voorkant, met uitzicht op de rivier. Aan de zijkant van het huis kun je 's avonds rond de priv��vuurplaats genieten, dus zorg ervoor dat je je ingrediënten verpakt voor s'mores (ook verkrijgbaar in de nabijgelegen supermarkten van West Jefferson). Verbazingwekkend sterrenkijken gegarandeerd.


Het hoogste bovenste niveau omvat ook twee slaapkamers - één met een queensize bed en de andere met een volledige grootte. Deze slaapkamers delen een extra complete badkamer.

De nabijgelegen Glendale Springs Inn biedt een heerlijk dinermenu, voor speciale avonden. Je vindt ook geweldige restaurants in de stad West Jefferson, op slechts 15 minuten afstand. Dit is Americana van het kleinste stadje op zijn best, met een prachtige combinatie van charme en cultuur. Hier vindt u antiek, galerijen, wijnproeverijen en de beroemde Ashe Co. Kaasfabriek. De ouderwetse landelijke winkel biedt ook lekkernijen zoals zelfgemaakte fudge, ijs, salsa's en lokale jam. Verken heel Main Street en je zult het gevoel hebben dat je een stap terug in de tijd hebt gemaakt.


Rijd een beetje verder naar Boone of Blowing Rock, voor een nog breder assortiment aan eetgelegenheden, entertainment en winkelmogelijkheden. Mis je fotomomenten niet langs de legendarische Blue Ridge Parkway. En vergeet niet dat hier in Blue Ridge Country de reis net zo bevredigend is als de bestemming, met prachtige landschappen bij elke beurt.


In de winter kunt u skiën, snowboarden, snowtubing of schaatsen in een van de vele resorts in de omgeving. De warmere maanden zijn ook een perfecte tijd om te paardrijden en leuke avonturen voor familiebijeenkomsten. It is a beautiful place great view. My kids loved the Foosball and hot tub. Not far from everything you need. Our family loved it . Soupy love to come back again.

First off I really enjoyed the central location to access the parkway and the south fork of the New River and to town whether Jefferson or W. Jefferson. The porches were great for sunning and for meals. The main road can get loud at times, but we were on the river rafting or at a park or on a trail all of the time we were not at the house. I didn't mind it, but if you aren't doing all those things then then the cars could be annoying at times. However, they honestly aren't always going by, but just at busier times and mostly in packs so there are absolutely times when its quiet. Personally it wasn't my complaint but it was my wife's and it has merit but there are many reasons to still stay here. Its priced fair, it has a hot tub, it has river access and the layout of the home is nice. The kitchen has all that you need and you can pull the car right up to the back porch. It's for the most part private less one neighbor but they were very nice the one time we talked, they offered an alternative way to get to the river access which was very nice of them. We had a great stay and the main living room and kitchen area is very homey feeling. Nothing is cluttered and lets you feel like you are right at home for your stay! The foosball table is nice and it is fun to get the family entertained for an hour at night. I enjoyed the help from the property manager and have nothing negative to say about our experience. Thank you for opening your home!

We enjoyed our stay at Jackson's Ridge. Easy to locate the house on the way in. Check in was real easy. Centrally located to shopping and restaurants. Plenty of room for everyone.

Great home base while visiting my sister in Laurel Springs. Very close to West Jefferson. Did sight seeing and river kayaking while in the area.

It was nice and clean. The only problem is the chinese Lady bugs were quite thick on the floor and funiture in the lower part was not fun. But everything else was great and I would stay there again

The house is beautiful, but it’s not as secluded as thought. The road below is well used and cars can be heard on it regularly. While the river is visible, it’s not accessible and is on private land. Beds were comfy, living room was nice. However, I was attacked by a spider in the bed overnight, and woke up with 10+ bites that are itchy, red, hot, and have tripled in size. When communicated, the manager said she’d get the pest guys thoughts on the matter. We could not figure out how to turn the showers on. There was no pull or switch, so no one was able to shower until management got back to us Saturday night after contacting the housekeeper. While it was okay, this house is not on our “return to” list.

The place was well stocked and clean. I loved that there was a multitude of different kitchen appliances and utensils. The only worry I have is that the street signs are not accurate. You are going to have to be good with looking at a map. Also during the winter months the gravel driveway probably is not the best thing. You guys should consider reinforcing the driveway with more gravel.

Nice home, good and rested week stay. Only a couple of issues. The bottom deck posts needs to be addressed (they are bowing and seems to be a weight issue) and renters have to purchase items not available to renters, such as trash bags for one.

We had an excellent experience! The house was exactly as advertised. Clean, safe, and a lovely place to meet up with family/friends. The young kiddos and the pup were all happy and entertained. We were a little concerned about them on the porch due to railings with loose wood. But we just kept them off the upper deck. The hot tub was clean and in a great location to stargaze at night. Beautiful mountain and river view. We had no problem with the driveway at all and it was very rainy for a few days. Of note, we had to go back out for toilet paper. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and such, dishwasher available, some leftover spices from previous stays. Bed were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Our trip was very lovely! Location was very nice and had a nice view. Only issue we ran into was actually finding the road that it was on. We were looking for the road on the left and it’s was on the right the whole time. It was very clean and seemed to have everything we needed. Definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again!!

The arrival was the challenging part. We had trouble accessing the key. Because there is really no cell phone connectivity, we had to drive to town to find out what the problem was and were promptly told what to do. When we went back and accessed the place, it had obviously not been cleaned. There were towels in the bathtub, sheets that were in unmade beds and other evidence that the cleaning had not taken place. We were able to email the manager using the Wi-Fi and then a cleaning crew was in the house within an hour. The cleaning crew ladies were absolutely great and very apologetic. They had just gotten the date wrong. After that initial confusion, we truly enjoyed staying at the property. The views from the two front porches were spectacular at night and during the day. There’s a decent amount of traffic on the highway but that’s not really too distracting. We stayed there five nights and really enjoyed our time spent there.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and we really enjoyed ourselves! Location was quiet and right off the river. River was across the street but beautiful panoramic views off the back porches! Enjoyed the hot tub and the cleanliness of the property! Would stay again and recommend to friends!

I enjoyed my stay at this property. Clean for the most part i did notice water damage in the basement level and dog hair on every cushion outside. Property was as described. I was a little misled by the pictures and expected to have direct river access. I would stay again here or at another one of their properties in the future. I was extremely pleased with check in and out process. Instructions were clear and property management was available if needed but allowed you your privacy

The house is great, sadly the day before we got there something had leaked all over the bottom bedroom carpet. We were not told about it and the property manager called us to see if it was okay. We told them the carpet was soaked and were advised to not use this bedroom as the carpet would have to be dried. We were told we would get a partial refund but nothing yet. It advertised the use of a BBQ, but there was only enough gas for one night and toilet paper for a couple of days. We have stayed in out of the way back country cabins with more toilet paper. I have addressed this as well and asked if the refund they offered was enough. Now silence and no refund at all. I will be contacting them again.

We paid for a 3 bedroom 2 bath house at Jackson’s Ridge “on the water,” and the third bedroom on the bottom floor was flooded and very stinky and completely unusable when we arrived. We called management right away, and we were told..... the problem was already known about!!!! Since we were only going to be there for two nights, we were NOT going to deal with maintenance coming and taking up all of our vacation time fixing someone else’s house. Why weren’t we made aware of the situation so that we could make other plans????? Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update the listing. The house in not on the river. We chose the house SOLEY because the description is very misleading and stated that it was on the river. Across the street and over a busy road is NOT on the river. At all. Edited: I “think” they changed the listing to state that the house is not ON the river. I’m not sure. StayBlueRidge is the managing company, and they WILL NOT do anything for you if a problem arises. Please choose another house. There are so many beautiful houses to rent in this beautiful area!!!

Very clean and very nice place to stay. Every thing is 5 star, however it says something in the description about water front swimming and kayaking along with fishing and we didn’t see where we could do so . Although we went to a kayaking place 30 minutes away that was also very good.
