'Excellent stay while visiting Louisville. Responsive service via text messaging. Library Bar was understaffed for the number of guests enjoying the cocktails and food, but drinks and light bites were delicious. Had an issue on the first night with a party in the hot tub, but guest services and security were very responsive and addressed the issue once it was reported. No issue the second night. We really enjoyed this hotel, which was beautifully repurposed from a 1800s hat company. The architect who designed the space did an outstanding job—the character and detail throughout are impressive.
While the rooms were a bit tight, they were still comfortable and manageable. Breakfast was fantastic and served in a unique speakeasy-style space in the basement, which added to the overall experience.

'Our stay was brief. Found a cockroach in the first two minutes. Looked around and found dead bugs and nail clippings around 3 of the 4 walls. Went downstairs to checkout at minute 5. Wouldn't let us cancel because we booked through a booking site. 2.5 hrs later, booking site contacted them and we bargained to get a refund and cancelation. Not a pleasant experience.'
