'We truly enjoyed our stay at Parker's Round House. The first night, we drove over to Big Springs and at at Max's Diner. Mother nature didn't cooperate too much on our second day, so we just stayed in and watched movies. It was a very relaxing weekend. The Parkers' were very hospitable. The Silo was a very cool experience. We would definitely stay again.'

'As advertised, it was quiet and cozy. The property is well kept and clean. Full kitchen, two stocked bathrooms, laundry, free wi-fi, and a large television. The house is old school charming and we all enjoyed our stay. There was a small mixup with communication. The property is listed through Vrbo, we rented through Expedia. The property manager was unable to send us check in information because we don't have a Vrbo account and nothing came through on our email. However, it was easily solved...

'My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute home with so much history. It was very quiet and relaxing. We used the kitchen every day and it was a pleasure to work in. The grocery stores are within walking distance. The home owners were very responsive to our messages. We only had one issue (internet was down) and it was taken care of immediately. We would definitely stay here again.'

'Host was good with communication. There was a chair bracing the back door, another chair was broken. No curtains or bed bugs. Shower was good. Bed fine quick overnight stay.'

'We were in town for our son's college football game. The one star missed for cleanliness was that the bathroom faucet hadn't been cleaned and the front of the fridge was a bit messy. A couple bugs were in the bathroom but they were those awful tree beetles that are impossible to keep from coming in. The bugs were even in the bar we went into downtown. 'We enjoyed two nights at this property. The beds and accommodations were very comfortable. Beautiful views. Two days was enough, though for a fmily of 7 without running water. Generator supplied electricity and gas stove was great for cooking inside.'

'This property was perfect for our anniversary/ Easter get together. Great common space for us to cook, visit and enjoy each other’s company! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and serving. Very limited and delayed communication from the owner, but ultimately no issues! We were not told in advance that the hot tub was not available. Not a big deal but would have saved us from packing swimsuits. Would definitely stay here again though, great experience!'

'Cutest little shop/restaurant/ice cream store next door. The property was very spacious and had some fun games for the kids! This lake is fabulous and the property is right by where (in my opinion) the best beach access points are. Cooking utensils are hit or miss, so you might want to pack things you know you'll need if you're cooking in. Check-in was super easy! Would definitely recommend.'

'Amazingly clean townhouse with great indoor and outdoor spaces. Sunrises and sunsets were both beautiful from the front and back decks. It was great having 3 full and another 1/2 bath. Well stocked kitchen. Beach access close by with a 4x4. Would definitely stay again!'
