'Very clean and new'

'Nice quiet location. Ample parking. Cozy and clean room. Handy local pub, shop and butchers across the road. Good freshly cooked breakfast.'

'Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough.'

'Very nice stay. Perfect breakfast. Great!'

'They need to invest in new matrasses and some sound isolation '

'Lovely comfortable room and excellent staff. We really liked the food- dinner and breakfast were spot on.'

'De kamer was wat aan de kleine kant. Er was wel een klein koelkastje op de kamer wat top is. Er mogen wel wat meer handdoeken beschikbaar zijn. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt is prima.'

'Beautiful, comfortable and cosy room in lovely location. We felt at home. Excellent breakfast'

'So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!'

'Klein gezellig hotel, retro/tweedehands typisch Engelse inrichting, alle modern confort, moderne badkamer met ligbad, zeer proper, oprecht zeer vriendelijk personeel, zeer lekkere Engelse keuken, koffie, chocoladedrank, thee steeds voorhanden in de kamer en elke dag aangevuld, aan de rand van de stad in een landelijke omgeving, een aanrader!'

'Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all.'

'A little dated and basic, but was very pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed my spontaneous night here with the dog, staff very kind and helpful. Big cups in the room, with nice biscuits and Yorkshire tea! Very affordable too for the night, would very happily return - given at a services, I didn’t hear the motorway at all! I stayed for convenience, not a ‘need’ and personally for £37 a night, I’d happily go back again!'

'Normally a very good hotel. Currently had an extension being built. So plenty of daytime noise. Had a broken shower that I’ve been informed will get fixed. However my main concern/problem was a member of staff called Lilac (or some similar). Rude just doesn’t cut it. Repeatedly interrupted her colleague at time of check in. So much so I asked the check in staff if they wanted to deal with her e'
