'This is a beautiful cottage stocked with every amenity you might need. Plenty of extra linens, paper products, basic toiletries, etc that are not always provided but that make vacation so much more stress free. John made the entire process, from check-in throughout our entire stay, so seamless, and he made it clear that he was available day or night for any issues that might arise. Definitely one of our best rental experiences ever! If we return to Orcas Island, we will definitely be returning...

'Our stay at The Paddle Shack was absolutely unforgettable. It was everything we hoped for—and more! 'Went on a mother/daughter getaway for our first time on Orcas Island. The location was great, a little more out in the woods, but only a short distance to the cute town of Eastsound. You can see the water from the porch and there is a waterfall right next to you that you can hear/see. There were people who stayed above us that you could easily hear walking/using the water but not too disruptive. The only item that wasn’t as advertised was we were missing a hair dryer. Otherwise, great low price...

'The property was well maintained. Registration was completed easily for a last minute reservation. Our two small dogs enjoyed the outdoors in the fenced backyard. The beds were comfortable. One full, one queen, one futon. One shower, toilet and sink. The hot tub was very relaxing. Everything was well organized with easy to understand instructions. Had an enjoyable stay!'
