Negatief: Netheid, personeel en service en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
We regretted choosing this as our overnight spot in Wendover. The exterior is a bit dilapidated, and the inside more than matches. This review is for the hotel only as we did not spend time in the casino. The front desk staffer we were met with was far from friendly and incredibly slow to help us with our reservation, even though there were no other guests checking in. The halls between rooms were poorly lit with peeling paint and dirt streaks everywhere. The room was the same, poorly lit, peeling wallpaper and ceiling tiles falling apart from water damage. The bathroom door was a size I highly doubt is ADA compliant if you need mobility aids and hard to shut due to water damage, the toilet had no lid, the bathroom floor was dirty, as was the tub in the shower. The carpet had seen far better days. I found myself wishing I’d brought flip flops for wearing in the shower and around the room. We only booked there because Expedia was running a deal. Their regular rates seem to be about the same as the Holiday Inn in town. Stay there instead.
