'Staff was so welcoming. I was surprised when I saw them meeting us down at the parking lot (2 of them) giving us a warm welcome and offering to carry luggage/bags. Room had a great view of the lake and volcanos, bedding was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Entire room was so spacious. Breakfast was nice as well with a combination of many things we liked. Food and drinks were great. To top it all is the view of Lake Atitlan and the volcanos from the infinity pool. That is magical.'

'Beautiful hotel, nice location. Got welcomed by the staff with a refreshing drink, had a very large room. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Sauna was great, had a canoe trip on the lake. Only a small walk to San Pedro. Views from every location in the hotel. The view is a little behind a mountain, so don't completely oversee the lake. Quite some algae in the water, so not fit for swimming. By a misunderstanding (and my bad Spanish), after informing about a sauna, they actually thought we...

'I enjoyed my stay at Lar Antiqua. The hotel is perfectly located, just a stone's throw from the central square, and the grounds are spotless. The staff is kind courteous and helpful and treated me like family. If I ever return to Xela, I'm staying here. Thanks again for a lovely stay. '
