'This was absolutely an amazing place for us! Our main interest was kiteboarding so it's good to know that MIA is too far for walking to the kite area so you'll need a plan, like renting a car, but it's way, way closer than the main city area so if you plan multiple days stay here and don't do a 50 minute drive each way to the kite beach. This wasn't a problem for us because my girlfriend took lessons every day and our instructor picked us up at the resort. Btw, the instructor they recommended...
