'Very helpful, we were going to be later than anticipated arriving, phoned to let them know, they reassured us it was no problem, everything was ready for our stay. Check-in at the bar was easy, staff showed us to our studio, staff very cheerful. Food in the pub was great, not just pub grub. Only downside, studio was small.'

'We had a lovely holiday at the Postgate Nook. It is a cozy house, tastefully decorated. The kitchen is complete. The wood stove provided warmth and extra atmosphere on cool days, although the temperature inside was always pleasant. The terrace offered a beautiful view of the valley and beautiful garden. 'Lovely little cottage with everything you need for a weekend. The open fire was lovely and so atmospheric. Beds are comfy and very cosy. So close to the pub and the sea. It was a wild stormy weekend so we fell asleep to the sound of the waves and wind which was ace. We would love to come back and stay for longer. '

'A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.'

'Great place, very clean and everything you need for a 2 day break. Beds very comfortable, great shower. Kitchen had everything you needed to make food. Could have easily stayed longer. Easy access to shops cafes and restaurants and a short walk away to the beach with only a 2 mile walk to Marske.
