'Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Front desk staff needs to get their act together. We had 2 rooms and 1 room great, but the second room they gave away to other customers. The day we checked in and then again on the second night couldn't access our 2nd room and our things has been removed. They didn't try to contact us they just put someone else in the room. Finally worked it out about 11pm that night.'

'While the property is older and a little tired (for example the chairs in the room were quite worn - sink had cracks) it was extremely clean. The room was large with ample room for the table and 2 chairs and a desk. It was quiet. The breakfast was a total surprise - eggs and sausage and a waffle maker. This area was also very clean. 'This is a motel. No frills, no amenities. Cheap and a great location for a stop on our road trip. The first room had a broken air conditioner, but they got us in a new room right away, and it was cleaner and nicer than the first. Acoca is a cute little town!'

'Our only complaint was the limited toilet paper. When we arrived to the motel, all we had was about a fourth of a roll left and no stock of extras. However, when a staff member asked if we needed anything the next morning, she was very quick to give us a new roll. We enjoyed the Roku that was provided in the room. Parking was adequate and right outside our motel room. The location of the motel was conveniently right next to Casey’s and just a quick walk down the street from the town amenities....

'It is a tired old 1950's motel that has had the rooms updated - very adequate. The outside and surrounding area is worn out and industrial. We did have plenty of towels, but there was no comfortable chair in our room and there are very few options for breakfast in this town. Overall - it was clean inside and adequate for sleeping but is not somewhere I would stay unless I needed to be in that specific area. '

'It is wonderful to visit a small town and stay in a quality hotel. My favorite aspect of the hotel is its location and setting next to a historic German hausbarn. The only negative I have - our room was near a hallway main door that squeaked when someone entered the hallway.'

'I wish I had something positive to say. We had ants in our room told the staff they seemed to not be interested. They came into our room to clean while we were gone and the only thing they did was pull the bed linen up. They tracked dirt in. Didn't grab the trash. We had to book for 7 days or we couldnt book it.The beds were old and hard. The sink was clogged. Was charged 100 a night for a room that barely fit 2 double beds. Every night we came back to room we had go to the front desk because...

'The night staff was very accommodating and even offered to bring me utensils so that I would not have to walk any further than I needed to. My husband and I are both limited in our ability to walk long distances. The whole staff was very pleasant and helpful! Hotel was clean and conveniently located to some shops/restaurants. 'Zero stars wasn’t an option. Filthy carpet and walls, broken and worn furniture. Staff tried to scam more money out of me, said I had no reservation and my paid receipt from Expedia meant nothing. Terrible place to stay with a terrible staff'
