'The property was right on the beach, which was fabulous. Unfortunately I booked an Ocean view room with air-conditioning, and there’s no such thing. I had to choose between an ocean view or air-conditioning. The staff was incredible. They moved my bags from one room to the next. It was just sad because the ocean view room was gorgeous with a canopy and its own private balcony. But I slept like a baby with the air-conditioning. Because it is extremely hot there.'

'This is our fourth time staying at Maya Jade, we love it. It’s private and quiet. The pools are great. We will stay here again. We live in Alaska and we will fly to Guatemala just to stay here.'
