Super service, vriendelijk!
What a nice stay! Hellen and Patrice were great. The B&B is verry nice and the breakfast is excelent with home made scones and wide selection of choices. They had great tips for dinner and trips during the day. The beds and rooms are superb! In short, fantastic! Thanks!

Enjoyed the location very much, easy 15 minute walk into Westport. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee and tea. Patrice provided us some excellent dining suggestions. Our only issue is the plumbing in the bathroom. The toilet was tricky, the hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed and the shower was slow draining. Having said that we would stay again with the understanding that we did not book a 4 star B&B, nor did we pay the price for one. Overall good value for the money.

The Woodside was a very quiet, peaceful place to spend our night in Westport. The owners were very friendly and affected suggestions for the area. The rooms were clean and well appointed, although there was a crack in the bathtub that was a bit disconcerting. The breakfast was top notch and checkout was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this site for a relaxing getaway in Westport.

My hosts were friendly; kept a clean and comfortable guesthouse; served a good, sustaining breakfast. My room had a good bed and satisfying shower. They were flexible with breakfast time to meet the needs of my tour driver. Having no evening transportation other than my feet, I found it to be a bit far out of town, but it is a straight shot from the main business area and ultimately walkable. I would recommend this guesthouse.

Westport stay
Enjoyable stay here, with fabulous breakfasts each day. Cosy breakfast room, allowing everyone to chat to one another with ease. Westport is a fun town to stay / visit. Plenty of shops alongside pubs and bars with great atmospheres.

Helen and Patrice are lovely hosts. So many wonderful choices at breakfast. We haven’t seen a breakfast menu like this anywhere else. Please don’t miss out on Helen’s delicious scones and Patrice’s omelettes.

We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast and everything was very good. From the moment we arrived there was a friendly welcome and the breakfasts were fantastic with plenty of choice. Home made scones were on offer every morning!

Hi HeatherThank you for taking the time to review our property.We strive to provide the best possible service we can to our visitors.You are correct about the water pressure .The water system in the town is old and lacks pressure.We had seriously considered putting in a pump here in Woodside Lodge but our plumber told us the house is too old and the plumbing wouldn't resist if we added a pump.Thank you for your visit and we hope to see you again sometime.

Hi SusanneThank you for taking the time to review our property.We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay in Woodside Lodge as the vast majority of our guests usually do..Our beds are quality hotel beds and most of our guests actually comment on how comfortable they are ..We love our charming house even if you consider it to be outdated. I suppose this is an example of the old saying....." You can't please all of the people all of the time. But at least you enjoyed our breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay very much -- the setting is quiet, beautiful, calming. Our room was spacious, clean, elegantly furnished. Breakfast was delicious, attractively presented. Highly recommended. .

This b and b is run by a husband and wife. The wife is nice the husband isnt very bright. I paid in full when i arrived. But i had to leave early due to a allergy i had. I did not expect any money back as it was me leaving early. I explained to the husband my situation. bare in mind it was him that took my payment in the morning. Then he had the cheek to charge me full payment again there is wiser eating grass. I was told by the nice lady when i rang that i was getting a refund but still no money in my account

We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer! We were met with a friendly face and check in was super easy. The room was spacious and comfortable. But the best part of the stay was the breakfast! Everything freshly cooked and delicious. Homemade buttery scones were out of this world. Everyone went out of their way to take care of us. We will be back!

Westport Stay
I was only at Woodside for one night, but was thoroughly delighted with my stay. The lodge is just a 10 minute walk into the town of Westport - which is an absolutely beautiful small town on Ireland's West Coast. The room and bed were extremely comfortable and the breakfast that Patrice and Helen prepared was absolutely fantastic - great hospitality! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this a landing spot in Westport.

The Woodside is a chaming and welcoming place, a 10 minute walk from downtown Westport. Our accomodation was a family room for four and everyone was comfortable. We had a wonderful breakfast and conversation with our hosts.

A gorgeous house, and nice comfortable and clean room. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and there was a good tasty breakfast. The walk to town is about 15mins at a leisurely pace. Thanks Patrice and Helen for keeping our things safe while we enjoyed a day out before leaving.

Convenient & clean
Near enough to the town centre to explore on foot (about 10 mins-ish) which is useful as it's paid parking on the streets, even in the local Supervalue. I found it to be simple but spotless. My bed was super comfy. Breakfast was tasty, just don't have the full Irish if you're planning to do Croagh Patrick. Yes, I enjoyed my short stay here. I'd happily stay again.

Relaxed. Very comfortable an excellent breakfast with relaxed hosts. Patrice and helen enjoy their work and it shows. Hot Fresh scones and fresh fruit with yogyurt were a real treat.

An absolute pleasure to stay here. Fab pillows and quilt on bed. Even with Covid restrictions clean towels daily. Helen could not have done more- even gave us sticks to climb cr. Pat.
