'From the moment we walked in and we were greeted at the front desk, to our breakfasts, to dinner in the resturant the staff made us feel right at home. The rooms themselves were large, very clean, the beds comfortable, and the views of the clew bay amazing. Room service was fast and hot, the laundry service as well was very fast. I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat to anyone. We stayed in many hotels while in Ireland and this one was by far the best. As a side note there is a lot to do...

'The hotel was beautiful - staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great position with view of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. Bedroom spacious with cimplimentary water - had a fridge and safe which was great. Bed comfortable esp the pillows. Appreciated that. Highly recommend. '

'The rooms at the Nevins Lodge were newly renovated and a spacy :-) bath. The beds are spatious and new. The people at the pub were very helpful and very supportive.
When you book we recommend you ask for rooms to the back of the building. The Nevins is at THE Wild Atlantic Way, with at least during the day a lot of traffic.'

'Prachtig authentiek landgoed met een fraai modern hotelbedrijf. Prachtige ligging. Wandelingen op het landgoed. parkeren gratis op het terrein. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooie schone ruime kamer met fraai sanitair. Goede bedden. Life muziek op het terras buiten. Ook 's avonds lekker gegeten in het restaurant (wel tafel reserveren); of je eet in de bar. Er is een mooi zwembad. Maar tot mijn grote spijt was de sauna kapot.
Het ontbijt was uitstekend en zeer uitgebreid.
Hier zal je een goed verblijf...

'First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day.
Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef.
On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious.
Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed.
