Although they sent someone to clean, he only addressed a few of the issues and left many others untouched. The condition of the property was unacceptable. 'We stayed in a cottage with our pup! From the very start, the hosts were very communicative. Greeted us when we pulled up and were available when we had any questions. We accidentally woke up late and were granted a late check with no issues (probably due to the comfy bed!) We had a great stay and definitely plan to visit again. Highly recommend !!!!'

It is moderately priced , they were able to respond to our unexpected need to stay additional days in the same room which was great. Pool was not open first day due to failure of inspection but did open next day. The 2nd day of the pool opened it already had no towels. 'I stayed here in the early 1980s, when I was in my early teens. It has been upgraded since then, but still provided that wonderful nostalgic feeling I had when I first visited the Outer Banks! I wanted my kids to experience this as well, so we booked a room for several days. We stayed in a courtyard room, which was still very quiet and comfortable, despite being next to the entrance drive.
